The third competition night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025 will take place on June 14, themed “The path of Unity”, showcasing teams from Canada and the People’s Republic of China – two nations renowned for their pyrotechnic artistry. A dazzling spectacle of lights will illuminate the Han River, promising a night to remember.
CANADA READY TO SHINE BRIGHT
Canada is set to shine bright with Orion Fireworks, one of the premier companies representing Quebec and a celebrated name in the global scene. Renowned for their artistry and technical precision, Orion specializes in traditional and multimedia-integrated displays. With over 150 shows annually across Canada and beyond, they have earned their title as “light artists” on the international stage.
For DIFF 2025, Orion will present “Star Dust – The Magic Starlight,” a breathtaking performance crafted by creative director Patrick Chandonnet. This three-act symphony of light begins with an awakening of the soul, transitions into a profound inner dialogue, and culminates in an exhilarating ascent into dreams and aspirations.
Every beat and silence, every surge and stillness, will take you, our esteemed audience, on an emotional journey. This artistic odyssey transcends limits and celebrates human brilliance, like stars shimmering in the cosmic expanse, connecting us all in a shared experience of wonder and awe.
With precise choreography and moving musical scores, such as “Power of Love,” “Leviathan,” and “Never Give Up on Your Dreams”, Team Canada aims to deliver a show that is both visually stunning and poetically resonant—true to their signature style.

THE RETURN OF DIFF 2024’S RUNNER-UP
Night 3 promises to be a truly inspiring highlight of DIFF 2025 as we welcome back Jiangxi Yangfeng Fireworks—the celebrated runner-up of DIFF 2024—from the ancestral land of fireworks, China. Known for their distinctive style and emotionally resonant performances, Jiangxi Yangfeng enchanted both judges and audiences alike in 2024. This year, they present “Journey to the West – A Side Story,” a captivating homage to the cherished Chinese literary masterpiece by Wu Cheng’en.
Rather than simply depicting mythical landscapes or epic battles, the performance deeply explores the emotional journeys and inner conflicts faced by iconic characters. Set against the stirring closing theme of the 1986 Journey to the West TV series Dare to Ask Where is the Road, the show weaves together themes of unrequited love, the struggle between desire and duty, and the profound spiritual tension between the mortal and divine—complexities often overlooked in the original tale, enriching our understanding of this cherished Chinese literary masterpiece.

By merging traditional Chinese pyrotechnics with the innovative technologies showcased at landmark events like the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Jiangxi Yangfeng aspires to craft a performance that is both powerful and delicate – honoring the fervent spirit of DIFF’s dedicated fanbase.
Beyond the dazzling fireworks, audiences will experience an exhilarating music concert at the Ngu Hanh Son main stage along the Han River. This live show will bring together hundreds of talented artists from Vietnam and around the world, including beloved Vietnamese singers Noo Phuoc Thinh and Phuong Anh, as well as international performers and brilliant dance crews.
Moreover, augmented reality (AR) technology will enhance the experience, transforming paper tickets and outdoor screens via Sky AR into a breathtaking digital universe. With display coverage reaching up to 600,000 m² and over 10 million pixels, this innovative fusion of music, fireworks, and digital storytelling promises a spectacular evening, sparking excitement and intrigue among our audience.
