April 10, Da Nang Hospital has discharged patient T.N.T.M (age 27, Vietnamese).
This is the 6th case of COVID-19 in Da Nang. Earlier, on March 19, 2020, the patient took a train from Malmo Hyllie to Copenhagen Airport, Denmark with transit in Doha (Qatar). On March 20, the patient arrived Bangkok, Thailand from Doha on flight QR832 then immigrated Da Nang at 12h40 on flight PG947.
After entering Da Nang International Airport, the patient has been quarantined at the National Defense Education Center – Military Zone 5.
On March 23, 2020, Da Nang Center for Disease Control has sampled the patient. The result of testing by Real-time-PCR method at 21h30 on March 24, 2020: POSITIVE with SARS-CoV-2 and the patient has been transferred to Da Nang Hospital for treatment.
Within the stay at Da Nang Hospital, the patient has been sampled 3 times and all showed NEGATIVE result and normal health condition.
After being discharged, the patient will return Ho Chi Minh city and conduct another 14-day quarantine.
Till now, Da Nang Hospital has healed 06 cases of COVID-19 (02 British, 01 American, and three Vietnamese).
There report no cases of COVID-19 in Da Nang at present. For the suspected cases (33 cases), they are still under strict surveillance.
