The Danang Golf Tourism Festival 2023 and BRG Open Golf Championship Danang are highly anticipated events from August 24 to September 2, 2023. The festival is held throughout Danang, including APEC Park, Danang Golf Resort Course, and Sheraton Grand Danang Resort & Convention Center. With the theme “Emotion-catching swings,” the festival aims to bridge the gap between golf enthusiasts and the general public, creating an enjoyable and inclusive experience for all attendees.

The festival kicks off with a golf-tourism product exhibition from August 24-27, 2023, on the 1st floor of APEC Park. This exhibition allows visitors to explore the world of golf fashion, try different types of golf-related equipment, and purchase suitable golf products such as golf clubs, balls, bags, and accessories.

The Danang Golf Tourism Festival 2023 offers a range of engaging activities, including check-in with the giant golf ball, golf practice on a mini artificial golf course with attractive gifts, golf fashion shows, nightly art shows, and check-in activity to get free tickets to witness live golf performances from international professional golfers (4,500 tickets available for the three days from August 31 to September 2, 2023). The golf road is also a must-see, recreating the history of the golf industry, postures, and legendary golfers.

Sheraton Grand Danang Resort Convention Center

The AGIF Danang – Golf Tourism and Sustainable Tactics event is scheduled from August 29th to August 30th, 2023, at the Sheraton Grand Danang Resort and Convention Center. The event will feature a diverse range of topics related to the golf industry, including sustainable golf course design, golf course maintenance and operation, and the role of women in the industry. Furthermore, solutions for the future development of the golf industry will be discussed and explored.

The Pro-Am Tournament, held on August 30th, 2023, at Danang Golf Resort, with the participation of 132 athletes (33 professional athletes seeded by the tournament; 99 slots for guests and sponsors). This tournament offers professional golfers and guests a unique opportunity to exchange and experience.

The Festival in Da Nang City is set to be a grand event, with the presence of distinguished guests, including the President of the Global Golf Tourism Organization (IAGTO), the President of the Indian Golf Union, and representatives from prominent golf travel agencies in Japan, Australia, India, the Philippines, and China. These eminent personalities will get the opportunity to explore Da Nang’s tourism products and golf tourism services and witness the various destinations and facilities available in the city. Not only will they attend the Danang Golf Tourism Festival and BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2023, but they will also meet with local golf courses and travel companies to promote Da Nang as a more attractive destination for golf enthusiasts.

The Danang Golf Tourism Festival 2023 focuses on the BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2023, which will be held from August 31 to September 2 at the Danang Golf Resort course. The championship will attract 144 professional golfers, including 120 international golfers from Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Korea, Japan, the UK, Australia, Sweden, India, and China, and 24 Vietnamese golfers. Notably, the top four golfers from this year’s Asian Development Tour (ADT) Order of Merit have already registered, namely Harrison Gilbert-Wong of Australia, Oscar Zetterwall of Sweden, Naoki Sekito of Japan, and Chanat Sakulpolphaisan of Thailand.

The BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2023 is part of the Asian Development Tour, a developmental tour for the Asian Tour, taking place from August 31 to September 2 at Danang Golf Resort course, voted by Golf Digest Magazine as one of the top 100 best golf courses in the world in 2022 and broadcast live on golf news fanpage/Youtube and Danang official fantasticity Facebook fanpage. The total prize money is up to 100,000 USD, which is $25,000 more than the previous year, enhancing the level of competitiveness of the tournament.

By promoting greater accessibility and visibility of golf to both locals and visitors, Da Nang City is committed to further developing the city’s golf tourism industry through the organization of the Danang Golf Tourism Festival 2023, which will showcase the BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2023.
