Following the remarkable success of the Vietnam – Brazil Football Festival, first celebrated in Vietnam in 2024, we eagerly anticipate the return of its second season in 2025. With the enthusiastic approval of the People’s Committee of Da Nang City and the strong support of the British Embassy in Vietnam, America & Asia Connection Co., Ltd (AAC), in collaboration with the Da Nang Department of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, will proudly present Season 2 of the Vietnam – United Kingdom Football Festival. Under the inspiring theme legendary Red – The Red Dream, this exciting event will take place from June 26–29, 2025, in the vibrant city of Da Nang.

LEGENDARY RED – THE RED DREAM
This upcoming cultural and sports event promises to be a significant platform for enhancing tourism and fostering sports connections between our two nations. It’s a unique opportunity to witness the legendary golden generation of the globally celebrated Manchester United Football Club, including Michael Owen, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, Teddy Sheringham, and Wes Brown, among others, in action. The festival will also lay a strong foundation for the growth of international sports tourism in Da Nang City.
The Manchester United legends will participate in a range of activities designed to promote the stunning coastal city of Da Nang and showcase Vietnam’s cultural richness to a broader audience. The 2025 festival will feature The Red Dream Fan Fest—a day dedicated to celebrating Manchester United fans with a mix of cultural and sporting events. Additionally, a friendly football match between the Vietnamese All-Stars and the Manchester Reds will be held, accompanied by an energetic music concert. Participants can also look forward to unique activities like pickleball and charity initiatives at V-Village Da Nang, alongside diverse tourism and sports promotional events.
The festival’s pinnacle is anticipated to be the friendly football match between the Vietnamese All-Stars and the Manchester Reds, set to take place at Hoa Xuan Stadium, which accommodates 17,000 seats. This encounter will not only reflect the spirit of competitive football but also showcase the spirit of the game. Still, it will also feature artistic performances and interactive audience experiences, creating an exceptional atmosphere reminiscent of a vibrant Vietnamese football festival.
Concurrent with the exchange and sporting activities involving the renowned MU players, America & Asia Connection Co., Ltd aims to encourage the development and nurturing of young football talent in Vietnam by hosting the GrassLife Da Nang International Youth Football Tournament. In its second edition, this tournament aims to fulfill the dreams of young athletes who aspire to excel in top-level competitions. Scheduled for June 27–28, 2025, the tournament will feature participation from over 30 teams across the U10–U16 age categories, further promoting youth engagement in sports. The tournament will be a unique opportunity for young football enthusiasts to showcase their skills and learn from the best.
