The second half of 2026 marks the most exciting festival season of the year in Da Nang, with a series of international, cultural, sports and entertainment events taking place from summer through the New Year period. From world-class fireworks performances along the Han River and an international film festival gathering leading filmmakers from Asia, to traditional cultural festivals and major sports events, Da Nang offers a wide range of experiences for both domestic and international visitors.

1. DIFF 2026 – Da Nang International Fireworks Festival
Time: 30 May – 11 July 2026
Location: Han River Port area and Tran Hung Dao Street, Da Nang
As the opening event of Da Nang’s summer tourism season, the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2026 (DIFF 2026) returns with the theme “Da Nang – United Horizons”. The festival brings together 10 leading fireworks teams from around the world and features six competition nights along the Han River. This is also the largest edition of DIFF to date, with upgraded facilities, new performance technologies and a wide range of accompanying activities.
This year, teams from Vietnam, China, France, Italy, Japan, Germany, Macau (China), Portugal and Australia will compete. Vietnam will be represented by the Da Nang Fireworks Team and Z121 Vina Pyrotech.

2. DANAFF IV – Da Nang Asian Film Festival 2026
Time: 28 June – 04 July 2026
Location: Cinemas and event venues in central Da Nang
Held under the message “DANAFF – Bridging Asia to the World”, the 4th Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF IV) continues to strengthen its position as one of Vietnam’s leading international film festivals while making Da Nang an important meeting point for the regional and global film community.
This year’s festival will feature more than 100 selected films, around 200 screenings and the participation of filmmakers, producers, actors, film experts and international film organizations.
Highlights of DANAFF IV include the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Asian Film Competition, Vietnamese Film Competition, the program “Vietnamese Cinema after 40 Years of Doi Moi”, DANAFF Industry Days 2026, workshops and talent development programs, as well as filmmaker talks, panel discussions, screenings and public activities.
Through its diverse programs, DANAFF IV contributes to promoting Da Nang as a cultural, creative and event destination in Asia.
3. Enjoy Da Nang Festival 2026
Time: 22 – 26 July 2026
Location: An Hai Ward
Held along Da Nang’s vibrant beach area, Enjoy Da Nang Festival 2026 is one of the city’s major summer events, offering cultural activities, tourism experiences, food programs and community events.
Festival highlights include the Opening Ceremony, Digital Journey to Explore Da Nang, the “Da Nang Beach Experience Route” Art Exhibition Space, “Quang Cuisine Market”, the “Sunrise Fish Market Experience”, Traditional Craft Village Space, the “Quang Phu – Colors of Summer” program and the Closing Ceremony “Revisiting Da Nang Memories”.
The festival offers visitors new ways to explore Da Nang through culture, cuisine, technology and digital tourism experiences.
4. Da Nang International Ngoc Linh Ginseng and Medicinal Herbs Festival 2026
Time: 01 – 03 August 2026
Location: Da Nang City and western medicinal herb areas
Organized for the first time in Da Nang, this festival celebrates the value of Ngoc Linh Ginseng, one of Vietnam’s most important medicinal plants, while promoting the city’s potential in medicinal herbs, wellness tourism and green economic development.
Festival highlights include the Opening Ceremony themed “Ngoc Linh Ginseng – The Essence of Global Medicinal Herbs”, exhibitions of domestic and international medicinal products, the Ngoc Linh Ginseng Competition, the “Mountain Flavors” Food Space, a charity ginseng auction, international scientific conferences, investment and trade promotion activities, cooperation agreements and tours to medicinal herb areas in western Da Nang.
The event also supports Da Nang’s strategy to become a national center for the medicinal herb industry with Ngoc Linh Ginseng as a key product.
5. Hoi An Mid-Autumn Festival 2026
Time: 23 – 26 September 2026
Location: Hoi An, Hoi An Dong and Hoi An Tay Wards
The Hoi An Mid-Autumn Festival features traditional activities such as the Heavenly Dog Dance Competition, Lion Dance Performances, cultural shows, traditional mooncake displays, lantern parades and the illuminated lantern streets of Hoi An Ancient Town.
The festival celebrates traditional values, family culture and the unique atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn Festival in Vietnam.
6. Heineken Pickleball World Cup 2026
Time: 30 August – 06 September 2026
Location: Tien Son Sports Palace, Tuyen Son Sports Village and pickleball courts across Da Nang
Held in Da Nang for the first time, the Heineken Pickleball World Cup 2026 is expected to welcome around 4,000 athletes, coaches, referees and visitors from 80 countries and territories.
In addition to international competitions, the event will include pickleball exhibitions, sports development forums, business networking activities and community engagement programs, further strengthening Da Nang’s position as a leading sports tourism destination in the region.
7. Da Nang Christmas Market 2026
Time: 04 – 06 December 2026
Location: Ariyana Convention Centre Da Nang
Da Nang Christmas Market 2026 will create a festive Christmas atmosphere with food stalls, gifts, handicrafts, entertainment programs and family-friendly activities.
The event is expected to become a popular destination for both residents and visitors during the year-end holiday season.
8. Da Nang New Year Festival 2027
Time: December 2026 – January 2027
Location: Public squares, walking streets, beaches and scenic areas across the city
The Da Nang New Year Festival 2027 will feature cultural, artistic and entertainment activities across the city. Visitors can enjoy the festive atmosphere along the Han River and Da Nang’s beaches while welcoming the New Year with family and friends.
