To celebrate the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024, the City People’s Committee invested a whopping 19.92 billion VND to create 15 stunning Tet flower decoration locations and 6 remarkable lighting decoration sites, all designed to enhance the festive spirit of the season.
The 15 locations decorated with Tet flowers include the prime location at the front of the City Administrative Center on Thanh Dien Hai Street, the east sidewalk in front of 42 Bach Dang, the sidewalk area in front of 32 Bach Dang, the sidewalk area in front of 42-44 Bach Dang, the sidewalk area in front of 12 Tran Phu, the sidewalk area in front of 23 Tran Phu, the 72 Bach Dang area, the landscape deck north of Dragon Bridge’s tail in Hai Chau District, the landscape deck south of Dragon Bridge’s tail in Hai Chau District, the landscape deck north of Dragon Bridge in Son Tra District, the Nguyen Huu Tho – Duy Tan – Le Dinh Ly traffic-circle, the concrete flower trellis along Bach Dang street, the Bien Dong Park – Vo Nguyen Giap street (Au Co statue area), APEC Park in Hai Chau District, and the sidewalk opposite APEC Park on the Han Riverside.
The lighting decoration positions are confirmed to be set up in six different locations, including pattern frames along the roadside of Thanh Dien Hai and Xo Viet Nghe Tinh, Nguyen Van Troi Bridge, and Tran Phu Street. In addition, the Vo Nguyen Giap runway near Ho Xuan Huong Street and the electricity poles of Vo Van Kiet, Pham Van Dong, and Tran Hung Dao streets will also be adorned with patterned frames. Moreover, flower beds along the sidewalks of Bach Dang and Tran Hung Dao Street will also be decorated.
The decoration and lighting works are expected to be completed before February 7, 2024, well before the Lunar New Year celebrations. Visitors can enjoy these stunning decorations until February 19, 2024.
