According to the expected plan, the fifth ABG in 2016 will take place in Binh Thuan, Khanh Hoa and Danang but the OCA only selected Danang where will celebrate the event.
This decision was put forward when the OCA group had visited in the end of January. That means Danang only have one year to prepare for competition works of participant groups in the next fifth ABG.
This is the first time that Vietnam becomes the host in this event. According to General Department of Sports and Physical Training, there are 14 games as expected such as: traditional boat, sailing, martial competitions on sand altered for jet-ski…….The fifth Asian Beach Games will hold in mid June of 2016.
There are 4.000 athletes and coaches from 45 countries and territories together with OCA’s officers, Olympic QG Committee, referees, international journalists as well as tourists who will come to Vietnam in this chance. This is the good chance to promote Vietnam’s beach tourism as well as Danang one.
