The bus route from Da Nang Airport to Sun World Ba Na Hills is now open

On January 27, the Department of Transport in Da Nang City announced the operation of four non-subsidized bus routes, including the highly anticipated Bus route number 03, which connects Da Nang Airport to the famous Sun tourist area, World Ba Na Hills.

Bus route 03 will be operated by Phuong Trang FutaBuslines Bus Joint Stock Company for the next five years, with a ticket price of 30,000 VND. Passengers can expect a bus frequency of 15 to 30 minutes per trip, making transportation convenient and hassle-free. The bus service is available daily from 5:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., offering passengers ample time to travel comfortably. Additionally, the company provides monthly tickets, following the Danabus bus ticket structure, to meet the needs of frequent passengers. Passengers traveling on this route can expect to ride in a GAZelle B26 brand vehicle that meets Euro 5 emission standards and complies with registration regulations in Vietnam.

Mr. Luong Huynh An, the representative of Sun World Ba Na Hills, shared his thoughts on the occasion of Bus route 03 being put into operation. He stated that the collaboration between Da Nang City Department of Transport and Phuong Trang Company to launch non-subsidized bus route No. 03 is a significant step for both tourists and Sun World Ba Na Hills as well as the whole tourism industry in Da Nang City.

With this bus service, passengers can conveniently travel from Da Nang airport to Sun World Ba Na Hills, making it a valuable addition to the transportation options available in the city. Implementing bus route number 03 is a game-changing move that will provide unmatched convenience and increase transportation options for tourists visiting Da Nang’s renowned Sun World Ba Na Hills. Still, it will also contribute to the city’s image of professional, friendly, and civilized tourism. This effort is a result of the visionary leadership of the Da Nang City leaders and the Department of Transport in developing public transportation and tourism in the city.

According to a representative from Sun World Ba Na Hills, the upcoming launch of the bus route connecting Da Nang airport to tourist attractions before the Lunar New Year 2024 is poised to boost tourism and increase the number of visitors attending the 2024 Spring Festival at the tourist area. Running from January 20, 2024, to March 31, 2024, the Spring Festival, themed “Fine Show of Blossom”, promises visitors an array of exciting and new experiences, including admiring 100 thousand colorful tulips, enjoying the show with the theme “Spring Symphony”, exhilarating and attractive street performances, and experiencing traditional Vietnamese Tet cultural features such as the custom of asking for blessings at the beginning of the year and participating in folk games like blindfolded hitting the ball, jumping, and praying.

In particular, this bus route connecting directly from Da Nang Airport to Sun World Ba Na Hills will provide an optimal and cost-effective travel option for tourists and MICE groups wishing to stay on vacation. It is known that in addition to Bus Route 03, on January 27, the Department of Transport of Da Nang City also announced the operation of 03 other non-subsidized bus routes, including Bus Route 09 (Oncology Hospital – Pham Hung); Bus route number 13 (Oncology Hospital – Vietnam-Korea University); Bus route number 14 (Song Han Port – High-Tech Park). Depending on the distance, bus routes will have different prices, ranging from 8,000 VND to 30,000 VND.

At the operation announcement event, Mr. Dang Nam Son, the Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Transport, expressed his appreciation for the launch of non-subsidized bus routes as a significant milestone for the transport industry.
