Star Cruises’ SuperStar Virgo cruise ship, carrying 1,270 passengers from the USA, China, Australia and other countries, berthed at Da Nang ’s Tien Sa Port on Tuesday morning.
The Saigontourist travel agency arranged for the passengers to be taken to some of the city’s popular tourist attractions such as the Linh Ung Pagoda and the Marble Mountains. They also had the opportunity to enjoy shopping time at the Han Market and other local venues, along with time to explore the beauty of Hoi An City. The ship then left Da Nang for other Vietnamese localities in the afternoon of the same day, and it is scheduled to visit the city again on 29 December.
Previously, on 16 November, the city had welcomed over 400 Chinese passengers from Star Cruises’ Superstar Libra cruise ship. This was the ship’s second visit to the city since the start of this year’s cruise ship season.
