Official opening of Danang Summer Destination 2018
On the evening of 16/06 at Bien Dong Park, Danang Department of Tourism officially started Danang Summer Destination 2018 program.
With the purpose to create a playground for locals and tourists to enjoy in the city, at the same time to enforce the brand name of Danang beach tourism, Danang Summer Destination 2018 is expected to be a festival of tourism industry, bringing new experiences for participants with many exciting activities.
The program will last in 5 days, from 16-20/06 , with more than 20 cultural, sports, music activities such as art performance, Kid Talents Gala, Fun Beach music festival, Yoga Day on the beach, installation arts…The cultural highlights include Xuan Thieu Night, folk games…
A new activity this year is free movie theather on the beach. On show nights, the audience can enjoy movies on tourism, beautiful landscapes and people of Vietnam.
In addition, Danang Summer Destination 2018 will include many environmental protection activities such as “Exchanging garbage for notebooks Day”, collecting trash on the streets of Nguyen Tat Thanh and Son Tra Peninsula…on the Vietnam Beach and Islands Week 2018, and International Ocean Day.
Mr. Ngo Quang Vinh, Director of Danang Department of Tourism shared: This year the program is extended to more open spaces along the beach along Nguyen Tat Thanh street with many new , exciting, diverse activities for the community and the tourists, bringing new experiences to all participants. From the festival, we hope to promote beach tourism products, contributing to developing Danang as a festival and event city destination.
