The Gala Dinner welcoming the fam trip from Mumbai was held in the evening of August 6, 2022 at Da Nang Golden Bay Hotel.
The Fam trip “the Best of Vietnam” invited 8 leading tour operators from Mumbai, the top economic center of India, to inspect the most popular destinations in Vietnam from 02 – 09 September 2022.
Fam trip guests visiting Da Nang in 2 days 05 and 06 August joined the city tour, enjoying Da Nang nightlife and exploring the landmark of Ba Na Hills, Golden Bridge.
Delivering the welcoming speech, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Binh, Deputy Director of Da Nang Department Tourism said the fam trip program aimed to highlight the cultural link between Vietnam and India, which could be the selling point for tour programs to Da Nang.
“Following the launching of direct flights from India to Da Nang in October 2022, the fam trip is the necessary preparation to boost tourism exchange between Da Nang and India cities”, Mr. Binh added.
Targeting the high-end tour programs for MICE, wedding and FIT, the fam trip was arranged with high quality services and accommodated by the 5 star beach resort Furama Resort Da Nang.
Members of the fam trip are founders and directors of leading tour operators in Mumbai, specialized in luxury tour, high-end tour, MICE, FIT and leisure comprising One Above, In Time, Tourister, Vinaayak Holidays, Kesari Travels, Jain & Jain Travels, Whiteboard, Plutus Voyages…
Mr. Basheer Adul Rahim, Director of One Above, team leader of the fam trip remarked his impression to the warm welcome and upmarket services for the high-income spenders.
“We can feel the keenness of Da Nang in approaching and marketing to India and we are also enthusiastic in promoting this destination. With the direct flights from India to Da Nang being launched soon, we believe Da Nang will soon achieve the hallmark of 3 million India tourist arrivals in the next 2 years”, said Mr. Rahim.
Among the series of activities promoting Da Nang to India, Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center successfully held Da Nang Tourism Roadshow in New Delhi, India 2022 on August 4, 2022.
On July 23, the Center presented the destination to the study tour fam trip comprising 33 members who are professors, principals, academic and social staff from State of Assam, India.
