On September 26–27, 2026, the Korean Food Event in Hoi An will take place at Song Hoai Square, No. 01 Cao Hong Lanh Street, Hoi An Ward, Da Nang City, featuring a wide range of activities that combine culinary experiences, K-Food showcases, cultural exchanges and artistic performances for residents and visitors.
Following the success of its inaugural edition in 2025, the event returns to introduce Korean culinary culture and food products to residents and visitors in Hoi An, while creating a vibrant space for cultural exchange and connection between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea. The programme aims to bring Korean culture closer to the Vietnamese public while promoting the image, culture and tourism of Hoi An – Da Nang to domestic and international visitors.
The event is hosted by the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) – Ho Chi Minh City Branch and implemented by SINASEAN Vietnam Co., Ltd., with support from the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the People’s Committee of Hoi An Ward and the Hoi An World Cultural Heritage Conservation Center.
The programme will showcase a diverse selection of K-Food products, offering visitors opportunities to experience Korean cuisine firsthand while strengthening cultural exchanges between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea.
Throughout the event, residents and visitors can take part in a variety of engaging activities, including sampling and shopping for popular products such as tteokbokki, beverages, ice cream and processed dairy products, fresh fruit and Korean convenience foods. Visitors can also try their hand at making popular dishes that have gained attention on social media, including kimbap, dalgona, cup tteokbokki and Korean noodles, as well as enjoy check-in activities and receive gifts at participating booths.
Beyond culinary experiences, the programme will feature music exchanges, artistic performances and activities promoting the culture and tourism of Hoi An – Da Nang. The combination of Korean cuisine, K-Food products and performing arts will create a distinctive cultural exchange space at Song Hoai Square, adding to the diversity of international cultural activities in Hoi An.
The event will be open from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM on September 26, 2026, and from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM on September 27, 2026. All programme activities and experiences are free of charge for residents and visitors.
Through the event, Korean cuisine is brought into connection with the cultural, heritage and tourism setting of Hoi An, offering residents and visitors more opportunities to experience Korean culture, discover K-Food products and take part in cultural exchanges. At the same time, the programme contributes to strengthening people-to-people ties between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea while introducing the distinctive cultural and tourism values of Hoi An – Da Nang to international visitors and friends.
