Department of Tourism Da Nang city organized to welcome the cruise ship Le Lapérouse docked at Tien Sa port at 06:00 on October 9, 2022. This is the first ship to bring tourists by sea to Da Nang after epidemic COVID-19.
“Le Lapérouse restarting cruise tourism after a 2-year hiatus because of COVID-19 is a good sign for tourism recovery,” said Nguyen Xuan Binh, Deputy Director of the City Department of Tourism Da Nang said.
Le Lapérouse, a French ship docked at Tien Sa port on October 9, brought more than 200 international guests, mainly from Europe and America to Da Nang.
In October, Le Lapérouse will continue to dock at Da Nang port on October 9, October 16 and October 29, 2022 in the time frame from 06:00 to 23:00 so that visitors can choose 03 different sightseeing routes at Ngu Hanh Son, Ba Na, Hoi An and My Son.
Le Lapérouse is the lead ship of the Ponant Explorers class of cruise ships (consisting of 6 members) operated by the Ponant shipping line. The program to explore the coast and famous landmarks of Vietnam lasting from 8 to 11 days is a new journey in Asia offered by Ponant on its website with prices starting from 4,240 Euro (nearly 100 million VND).
