On account of the complicated circumstances of COVID-19, Da Nang Tourist Support Center reckons the vital role in coordinating with the city government in prevention and control of the outbreak to assure the public health and safety.
Together with employing antiseptic solutions and offering surgical masks to tourists for free, installing standees indicating the precautions of coronavirus at Information Points at Da Nang International Airport and the office at 108 Bach Dang; promulgate documents regarding the prevention and control of the epidemic from central government, city government and related departments, Da Nang Tourist Support Center also proactively assists international tourists in isolation period in Da Nang.
The Center has helped Mr. Maier Marco – a German tourist to contact the airlines, refund his airfare and extend visa to catch the returning flight. “The staff is really friendly and enthusiastic in helping me. I will return Da Nang in the near future” – he shared.
Accordingly, on March 22, 2020, all staff and guests at Vanda hotel complete their quarantine time and all showed negative result of SARS-CoV-2. On the same day, staff of Da Nang Tourist Support Center has seen off the German tourist and 24 tourists from Hong Kong. All of them have normal health and stay happy. They all promised to return Da Nang in the coming time.
