Da Nang launches “Top 100 Da Nang Touchpoints” Program

Da Nang, April 2026 – With the aim of spreading meaningful experiences that leave lasting impressions on visitors, the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism officially launches the “Top 100 Da Nang Touchpoints” program in 2026. The initiative seeks to highlight memorable moments of the city not only through destinations, but also through emotions, experiences, and personal stories.

Moving beyond the traditional approach of promoting tourism by locations alone, the program adopts the concept of “touchpoints” in a broader sense – referring to any experience that allows visitors to truly feel the beauty and spirit of Da Nang. These may include nature, cuisine, culture, people, local lifestyle, or simply a fleeting yet unforgettable moment.

Based on community submissions, the program will select outstanding “touchpoints” across six main experience categories:

Cultural Touchpoints: honoring cultural values, heritage, and traditional craft villages

Gastronomy Touchpoints: showcasing signature cuisine and diverse culinary experiences

Nature Touchpoints: focusing on nature, ecology, outdoor activities, and exploration

Wellness Touchpoints: associated with relaxation, healing, and well-being experiences

Moments Touchpoints: linked to festivals, events, and iconic check-in spaces

Lifestyle Touchpoints: celebrating authentic and everyday local life experiences

A key highlight of the program is the central role of the community in both the nomination and voting process. Individuals, local residents, visitors, businesses, and content creators are all invited to submit nominations and vote online via the official platform: www.danangtop100.com.

Through diverse community perspectives, the program aims to create a vibrant and emotionally rich “experience map” of Da Nang, contributing to the diversification of the city’s tourism ecosystem.

The program will be implemented in three main phases throughout 2026:

  • April 2026: Program launch and open call for submissions from individuals and organizations via the online platform
  • May – June 2026: Public voting phase conducted transparently and openly
  • July 2026: Announcement of the Top 100 selected touchpoints and extensive promotion across domestic and international channels

Notably, the “Top 100 Da Nang Touchpoints” program does not rank or compare submissions. Instead, it focuses on celebrating experiences that are recognized and appreciated by the community. Each “touchpoint” may exist across multiple locations, creating opportunities for businesses, organizations, and communities to develop innovative tourism products and services.

Through this initiative, Da Nang aims not only to introduce places to visit, but also to share experiences worth feeling, remembering, and returning for. The program is expected to become a fresh tourism promotion initiative, reinforcing Da Nang’s image as an emotional, creative, and welcoming destination in 2026.
