DA NANG IS BECOMING A POPULAR “WEDDING TOURISM DESTINATION” FOR INDIAN WEDDINGS
The magnificent wedding ceremony of Kashmera and Inderdeep was all set to take place from January 19 to 21, 2024, at the lavish Sheraton Grand Danang Resort Hotel with nearly 500 guests. Furthermore, two more Indian couples, Kulvin Kaur and Dilip Bhagwan, chose Danang as their wedding destination in February 2024. The venue for their wedding will be the luxurious Hyatt Regency Danang Resort and Spa, which hosted more than 200 guests from February 2 to 4, 2024.

Two couples of Indian descent, currently residing in Singapore and the Philippines, have successfully organized a series of grandiose wedding ceremonies while still honoring their Indian traditions. Each wedding had a remarkable attendance of over 200 guests, and the hotel room bookings for both weddings exceeded 650 room nights. These lavish celebrations occurred at two of the most luxurious resorts in Da Nang – the Hyatt Regency Danang Resort and Spa and the Danang Marriott Resort and Spa.

Mr. Dhinesh Rajarathinam, CEO of Dated Luxury Weddings Consulting and Event Organization LLC, has recently shared some exciting news. He disclosed that his company received requests for wedding planning consulting from approximately 30 international couples in 2024. In the first quarter of 2024, the company is pleased to announce that it will be organizing weddings for five couples from India.
Mr. Rajarathinam has expressed his company’s commitment to providing top-notch services to all of its clients, and he anticipates organizing around 20 international weddings this year, including 6-8 Indian couples. In the first two months of 2024, three large weddings of Indian couples and dozens of weddings of couples in the form of wedding tourism have already taken place, which is a positive sign for the destination of Da Nang.
Recognizing wedding tourism as a new product, the Da Nang Department of Tourism keeps focusing its resources on organizing activities to promote and develop this segment. It expects to become a favorite emerging wedding tourism destination in Asia.
