The Congress identified three breakthrough tasks: effectively implementing special mechanisms and policies; removing difficulties and obstacles, strongly developing the private economy, mobilizing resources for infrastructure investment, and promoting rapid and sustainable growth. Promoting science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation associated with high-quality human resource development to create strong improvements in productivity, quality, and efficiency across sectors. It also involves coordination in strengthening Party building and the political system, administrative reform, digital transformation, natural resource management, environmental protection, and climate change adaptation.

This is a humane and creative approach by Da Nang to leverage collective strength and narrow the East–West development gap. From a long-standing tradition of solidarity and sharing, the city is turning this spirit into concrete action, laying the foundation for sustainable development in the post-merger period.

In the breath of a post-merger Da Nang, the folk verse “young jackfruit sent down, flying fish sent up” resonates once again, linking the past with the present, all for the development of the western region, as the city enters a new stage in the nation’s era of strong advancement.
