On the morning of June 22, Vinpearl Joint Stock Company held the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Lang Van Tourism and Urban Resort Complex project.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Da Nang City People’s Committee, Le Trung Chinh, stated that Da Nang is very pleased with the commencement of the Lang Van Tourism and Urban Resort Complex project (Lang Van Project) — one of the city’s key projects, which holds significant importance for the socio-economic development and urban planning orientation of the city’s Northwest area.
According to the Chairman of the City People’s Committee, Lang Van is a land of special historical significance, where mountains and sea converge, located adjacent to the majestic Hai Van Mountain.
To harness these unique features, the Lang Van Project is expected to develop into a complex comprising commercial and service facilities, eco-tourism development combined with low-density accommodation in harmony with nature conservation. At the same time, it will serve the tourism and residential needs of both local residents and domestic and international visitors, with a civilized, modern, and environmentally friendly architectural space.
The city highly appreciates the strategic vision, pioneering spirit, and strong determination of Vingroup, especially Vinpearl Joint Stock Company—the project’s investor—for choosing Da Nang as the location to develop a large-scale project with a total investment of nearly VND 45,000 billion.
The Chairman of the City People’s Committee shared that the commencement of the Lang Van Project is the result of the concerted efforts of the city’s departments, agencies, and local authorities; the support of central government bodies; the determination of the investor; and, most importantly, the understanding and cooperation of the local residents in the area affected by the project.
The Da Nang city government will always accompany and closely coordinate with the investor to promptly resolve any difficulties and obstacles, creating favorable conditions for the project to be implemented swiftly, effectively, and on schedule.
The city hopes that during construction and operation, the investor will pay attention to harmony with nature, preserve the ecological landscape, ensure national security and defense, and promote local cultural values, so that the Lang Van Project will not only be a high-end resort destination but also a symbol of sustainable and prosperous development.
The Lang Van Tourism and Urban Resort Complex project is located in Hoa Hiep Bac Ward, Lien Chieu District, Da Nang City, covering a total area of 512.2 hectares, with Vinpearl Joint Stock Company, under Vingroup, as the investor.
To fully capitalize on its outstanding natural advantages, the Lang Van Tourism and Urban Resort Complex project is designed as an international standard “resort city” model with low-density accommodation. Specifically, the project is planned as a multifunctional development with complete amenities ranging from resort facilities (hotels, resorts, villas), lodging (apartments), entertainment (theme parks), dining, commerce, to education and healthcare—creating a harmonious living environment that positively integrates people, nature, and technology.
With comprehensive and thorough planning, once operational, the Lang Van Tourism and Urban Resort Complex project will not only be the leading luxurious and attractive resort destination in Central Vietnam but also a high-end residential area for the new generation of citizens who wish to live in harmony with nature while actively fostering prosperous development.
