The Vietnam Golf Association is contemplating the list of 22 golfers who will attend the BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022.
The professional tournament by the Asian Development Tour (ADT) – BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022 will take place from August 29th to September 2nd at BRG Danang Golf Resort. This is an official event in the Golf Tourism Festival organized by Danang City, under the patronage of the Vietnam Golf Association and accompanied by the title sponsor – BRG Group.
The symbol chosen for BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022 is the image of bridges – one of the prominent features of Danang City, this year’s tournament is an opportunity to connect Vietnam Golf and World Golf, an interference of sports, cultural and human values.
With a bonus fund of 75,000 USD, BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022 is expected to have 144 golfers participate, of which there will be 22 golfers from Vietnam, including 15 places selected by the Vietnam Golf Association and 7 other places will be representatives of the sponsors. The VGA will announce the criteria for selecting golfers to attend this tournament as soon as possible.
In 2015, when the tournament of the Asian Tour was held at The Bluff Ho Tram Strip, Vietnam had 10 golfers attending and the VGA had based on the results of the National Amateur Golf Championship to choose 4 best amateur golfers and the top 6 professional golfers to took place in the tournament. Most likely, in the next tournament at BRG Danang Golf Resort, the Vietnam Golf Association will send young golfers with good achievements at the recent Amateur Championship such as Nguyen Anh Minh, Nguyen Dang Minh, Nguyen Quang Tri, Le Khanh Hung,… participating in the competition. The participation of Pro, Association can base on the bonus ranking of the VGA Tour.
