Nicklaus Course of BRG Danang Golf Resort will be the venue for the Asian Development Tour’s tournament from August 29th to September 2nd, 2022.
BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022 is the first tournament of the Asian Development Tour (ADT) held in Danang City and Nicklaus Course of BRG Danang Golf Resort will be the venue for the upcoming tournament.

To prepare for this tournament, ADT’s expert Mr. Chokchai Boonprasert, who is also the tournament director, went to Danang and worked with a representative of BRG Group to make requirements for the course’s specifications. Designed by Nicklaus Design, the embankment-style golf course that has been in operation since 2018 is a Par 73 course, but in the upcoming tournament the course will be set at a standard Par 72 with a total length of 7,363 yards, in which the 10th hole, which is normally a Par 5 hole, will be adjusted to a Par 4 hole with a length of 502 yards. This will be a challenge for golfers participating in the tournament.
In addition to the above adjustment, the grass area on the course will also be set at standard length such as fairway grass 11mm, semi rough 25mm, rough 60mm, green speed during the tournament days will be maintained at 9 feet 6 to 10 feet 6.

BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022 will take place from August 29th to September 2nd, 2022, including two practice days, one day of Pro-Am competition and three official rounds. It is expected that 144 golfers will participate in the tournament with a total bonus fund of $75,000, the champion will receive $13,125. The tournament is co-organized by the People’s Committee of Danang City and the Asian Development Tour, with the main sponsor being BRG Group, and VGS Group as the organizer and live-broadcaster of the tournament.
