The number 1 amateur golfer in Vietnam – Nguyen Anh Minh has confirmed his participation in the BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022.
After Nguyen Thai Duong, Tran Le Duy Nhat or Truong Chi Quan, Nguyen Anh Minh can be considered the brightest and most talented young golfer in Vietnam at the moment. Despite his young age, the golfer from Hanoi has already achieved many accomplishments.
Two championships at professional tournaments of the VGA Tour: Lexus Challenge 2022 and National Golf Championship 2022 – VinFast Cup. Or most recently, Nguyen Anh Minh also surpassed other young talents of Vietnamese golf to win the VJO 2022 – T99 Cup. Along with that is the championship in Thailand at the Asian Amateur Open Golf Championship 2022.
It is not an exaggeration to say that Nguyen Anh Minh is a treasure of Vietnamese golf. Four titles in just 7 months are more than enough to prove the skill and talent of the No. 1 amateur golfer in Vietnam at the moment. What Nguyen Anh Minh needs most right now is to compete and rub shoulders regularly with top golfers in the region as well as the continent to learn and accumulate more experience in order to prepare for the future, and the BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022 is a such tournament.
As a part of the Asian Development Tour, BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022 will bring together many talented golfers from around the world to attend, including some of the names such as the golfer who is leading the ADT’s bonus ranking – Chen Guxin, the world 500th golfer from Thailand – Chanat Sakulpolphaisan or the American golfer – Dodge Kemmer. This is a great opportunity for Nguyen Anh Minh to learn from the top golfers in Asia.
Other than Nguyen Anh Minh, there will also be 9 amateur golfers from Vietnam who meet the criteria of the Vietnam Golf Association to participate in the BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022. They are: Nguyen Nhat Long, Nguyen Dang Minh, Le Khanh Hung, Nguyen Bao Long, Dang Quang Anh, Nguyen Quang Tri, Doan Uy, Nguyen Tuan Anh and Do Quang Khanh. These are all talented golfers of Vietnamese golf and have all been in good form in recent tournaments.
BRG Open Golf Championship Danang will take place from August 29th to September 2nd at BRG Danang Golf Resort with 3 official rounds and a total bonus money of $75,000.
