From 13h30 on 8th March to 8h00 on 9th March 2020, Danang reported 2 virus cases who both were British tourists and 24 cases under surveillance of Covid-19 (including 18 Vietnamese, 01 Thai, 01 Romanian, 01 South Korean). Also, 8 cases have been quanrantined.

Da Nang confirmed 2 positive cases of Covid-19 who are British tourists and have been receiving treatment at Da Nang hospital. They both are in normal condition.

Currently, the health of the cases is stable and is being closely monitored.

- On March 8, the Centers for Disease Control supervised 25 aircraft and 01 ship, with 1,113 people on entry. All have medical reports.
