From 06 – 11 November 2017 in Da Nang, Viet Nam, the 2017 APEC Economic Leaders’ Week (AELW) will be held under the theme “Creating New Dynamism, Fostering a Shared Future.”
President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam H.E. Tran Dai Quang will host AELW’s key events, including the 25th APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting (AELM), the AELM Gala Dinner and Cultural Performance, the ABAC Dialogue with APEC Economic Leaders, and the APEC – ASEAN Informal Dialogue on 10 – 11 November. President Quang will also deliver a keynote speech at the APEC CEO Summit, which is held from 08 – 10 November.
The President’s spouse, Madam Nguyen Thi Hien, will host the Leaders’ Spouse Program in Hoi An, Quang Nam and Da Nang on 11 November.
The Viet Nam Business Summit will also be organized on 07 November. Vietnamese Prime Minister H.E. Nguyen Xuan Phuc is expected to attend and deliver a keynote address.
Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Pham Binh Minh together with Minister of Industry and Trade H.E. Tran Tuan Anh will chair the 29th APEC Ministerial Meeting on 08 November. The 2017 APEC SOM Chair, Vietnamese Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Bui Thanh Son will chair the APEC Concluding Senior Officials’ Meeting on 06 – 07 November.
On this occasion, the ABAC Meeting from 04 – 06 November, and APEC Voices of the Future from 06 – 10 November, will also be held.
