Amid the vibrant atmosphere of IRONMAN week in Da Nang, IRONKIDS Vietnam 2026 continues to offer an inspiring sporting playground for young athletes, where every child has the opportunity to experience the spirit of endurance sports, discover their own limits, and confidently complete their personal journey.

Set against the energetic coastal backdrop of Da Nang, young participants immerse themselves in the atmosphere of an international sporting event that is both professional and welcoming, safe and full of positive energy. Every stride, cycling lap, and finish-line moment becomes a memorable childhood experience — where sport is embraced through joy, excitement, and the determination to overcome personal limits.

This year’s competition includes TRIATHLON categories featuring swimming, cycling, and running, alongside AQUATHLON categories combining swimming and running. All race formats are designed appropriately for different age groups, allowing children to approach endurance sports in a natural, enjoyable, and inspiring way.

In the TRIATHLON category, athletes aged 5–10 compete in a 75m swim, 3km bike ride, and 1km run, while the 11–15 age group takes on a 150m swim, 6km bike ride, and 2km run. Meanwhile, the AQUATHLON category includes a 75m swim and 1km run for athletes aged 5–10, and a 150m swim and 2km run for the 11–15 age group.

This year’s edition welcomes nearly 500 young athletes aged between 5 and 15 to compete in the coastal city of Da Nang. All race activities take place at East Sea Park — one of the city’s iconic public spaces and the central hub of this year’s IRONMAN event week. Beyond creating a vibrant sporting atmosphere along the coastline, IRONKIDS also helps promote healthy living, strengthen family connections, and spread the positive values of community sports from an early age.

What makes IRONKIDS truly special is its emphasis on personal experience, sportsmanship, and each child’s journey to the finish line. For this reason, race results and finishing times will remain confidential and will not be publicly announced. What matters most is not who finishes first, but the courage to begin, the determination to continue, and the pride of completing one’s own journey.
