To ensure the safety of athletes and support the organization of the event, Da Nang City will implement traffic diversion plans, temporary road restrictions, and road closures during the competition period on May 10, 2026, particularly along coastal routes and major traffic corridors.

Affected areas include East Sea Park — the main event hub — and several key routes such as Vo Nguyen Giap, Hoang Sa, Le Duc Tho, Thuan Phuoc Bridge, Nguyen Tat Thanh, Ho Han Thuong, Le Van Duyet, Tran Hung Dao, Chuong Duong, Minh Mang, Truong Sa, Lac Long Quan, Vo Chi Cong, as well as a number of bridges, intersections, and inter-district connecting roads.

Traffic restrictions and temporary closures will be implemented during specific timeframes throughout the race day in order to minimize impacts on daily travel and local activities. Functional forces will be deployed to regulate and guide traffic, while alternative routes will be arranged to ensure convenient movement for residents and visitors.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism respectfully encourages residents, visitors, organizations, and businesses to proactively follow updates regarding traffic diversion schedules and road closure timelines; arrange travel plans accordingly; avoid entering or parking vehicles within race areas during competition hours; and cooperate to help ensure the event is conducted safely, smoothly, and successfully.

The cooperation and understanding of residents play an important role in contributing to the overall success of the event, while also showcasing Da Nang’s image as a friendly, dynamic, and welcoming destination to international visitors.

Detailed information regarding traffic diversion routes and closure schedules will be continuously updated through official media channels, the city’s information portals, and relevant authorities. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism sincerely appreciates the support and cooperation of residents, media agencies, and visitors throughout the event period.
