Co Co River – Hoi An Tay Festival 2026
Time: August 1–2, 2026
Venue: The Co Co River area and the pocket park at the foot of An Bang Bridge, Hoi An Tay Ward
Under the theme “Co Co – A River of Heritage,” the festival invites visitors to discover the distinctive cultural and ecological landscape along a river that once played an important role in trade between Hoi An and Da Nang.
Over two days, the festival will feature a countryside market, displays of OCOP products and local agricultural produce, traditional craft demonstrations, folk singing, Bai Choi performances, Ho Khoan folk songs, boat experiences, sailing and kayaking demonstrations, folk games and activities for children.
Highlights include the ceremonial raising of the sails to open the festival, floating lantern rituals, the departure of boats and the “Moonlit Co Co River” programme. Together, these activities create an inspiring journey through riverside scenery, traditional craft culture and the community life of Hoi An Tay.
Da Nang International Ngoc Linh Ginseng and Medicinal Herbs Festival 2026
Time: August 1–3, 2026
Venue: APEC Park and Ngoc Linh ginseng and medicinal herb cultivation areas in southern Da Nang
With the theme “Ngoc Linh Ginseng – The Essence of the World’s Medicinal Herbs,” the festival aims to honour the value of Ngoc Linh ginseng, promote the potential of Vietnam’s medicinal herb industry and expand cooperation in research, investment, production, trade and wellness tourism development.
The festival space will bring together ginseng, medicinal herbs and products used in pharmaceuticals, food, cosmetics and healthcare. Visitors can also explore the “Flavours of the Great Forest” area, visit the Ngoc Linh Ginseng Market, learn about the forest and ginseng ecosystem, and meet the communities directly involved in preserving this precious medicinal plant.
The programme also includes Ngoc Linh Ginseng Honouring Day, ginseng competitions and auctions, an international scientific conference, artistic performances, investment promotion activities, business networking and visits to ginseng-growing areas.
First Tay Giang Co Tu Cultural Festival 2026

Venue: Co Tu Traditional Village, Agrong Hamlet, Tay Giang Commune, Da Nang
Under the theme “A New Day in Tay Giang – Melodies of the Harvest Season,” the first Tay Giang Co Tu Cultural Festival 2026 offers a journey into indigenous culture amid the majestic forests of western Da Nang.
Visitors can immerse themselves in community life, discover the new rice celebration ritual, and enjoy Tan’tung Da’da dances, traditional singing, Ly singing and storytelling, folk songs and traditional musical instrument performances. Hands-on activities such as rice pounding, making buffalo-horn-shaped cakes, crossbow shooting and stilt walking, together with local cuisine and displays of OCOP and cultural products, will provide vivid insights into the daily life of the Co Tu people.
In addition to preserving and promoting traditional cultural identity, the festival invites visitors to leave the pace of urban life behind and reconnect with nature, local communities and the authentic values of the Tay Giang highlands.
Da Nang Vietnam–Republic of Korea Festival 2026

Venue: East Sea Park, An Hai Ward, and several other locations across the city
The Da Nang Vietnam–Republic of Korea Festival 2026 continues to provide a vibrant platform for cultural exchange between the two countries through art, cuisine, exhibitions, cultural experiences and community activities.
At the festival, residents and visitors will have the opportunity to explore the distinctive features of Korean culture while discovering the similarities and interactions between Vietnamese and Korean traditions in a youthful, modern and colourful setting.
The event also contributes to strengthening people-to-people exchanges, expanding international cooperation and promoting Da Nang as a friendly, open, dynamic and globally connected city.
Tan Thanh Coastal Village Festival 2026
Time: August 8–9, 2026
Venue: Tan Thanh Fishing Village Market, Nguyen Phan Vinh Street, Hoi An Tay Ward
Under the theme “Coastal Festival,” the Tan Thanh Coastal Village Festival 2026 invites visitors into the distinctive community culture of a seaside fishing village, where local values, regional products and cultural stories from the coastal and mountainous areas of Quang Nam converge.
Over two days, the festival will feature approximately 80–100 stalls offering second-hand goods, handicrafts, homemade products, OCOP products and local cuisine, alongside street performances, cultural exchanges and activities for families and children. Visitors can also paint conical hats, make areca-palm leaf fans, join handicraft workshops, experience sailing and take part in community dance programmes.
A major highlight is the local-style market, organised with an environmentally friendly approach and reduced plastic waste. Discussions on community-based tourism, green destinations and local cultural values will also create a welcoming meeting place for residents, visitors and tourism communities.

“Echoes of My Son” Art Programme

Venue: My Son Sanctuary
“Echoes of My Son” is an elaborately staged outdoor art programme that recreates the historical journey and spiritual life of the ancient Cham people at My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.
The programme brings together Cham Po-Nai folk songs and traditional dances, guiding visitors into a spiritual world deeply connected with nature, agricultural seasons and the beliefs of the Cham community. The rustic melodies of Po-Nai songs express hopes for favourable weather, peace and prosperity. Traditional dances featuring water jars and Ciet baskets, along with incense-offering dances, originated from everyday labour and ancient rituals, and embody a graceful, enduring and profound beauty.
Against the contemplative backdrop of the ancient towers, the graceful movements of Cham dancers, accompanied by the resonant sounds of Ghi-nang drums and Saranai oboes echoing through the mountains and forests, create a complete cultural experience where art becomes a bridge to the soul of the heritage.
HORECFEX Vietnam 2026
Time: August 20–21, 2026
Venue: Ariyana Convention Centre Danang
HORECFEX Vietnam 2026 is a specialised forum and exhibition focusing on technology and innovation in the hotel, restaurant, tourism and service industries.
Under the theme “Future Vision,” the event is expected to attract thousands of participants, along with businesses, experts, speakers and technology solution providers from Vietnam and around the world. Exhibitions, seminars and in-depth discussions will provide updates on emerging trends in hotel management, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, sustainable development and customer experience enhancement.

Dai Binh Culture and Tourism Festival 2026
Time: August 21–23, 2026
Venue: Dai Binh Village, Nong Son Commune, Da Nang
Under the theme “Dai Binh – A Green Destination,” the festival opens a journey into one of the distinctive ecological villages along the Thu Bon River, surrounded by orchards, historic houses, green hedges and the peaceful rhythm of rural life.
Over three days, the festival will feature displays of agricultural and OCOP products, a countryside market, a traditional food area, the “Memories of Dai Binh” exhibition, Bai Choi performances, folk games, acoustic music and riverside experiences.
Visitors can also participate in the “Discover Dai Binh 2026” running race, learn to prepare traditional dishes, camp, visit garden houses and capture memorable end-of-summer moments amid a refreshing and welcoming countryside setting.
Hoi An Creative Week 2026
Time: August 28–September 2, 2026
Venue: Song Hoai Square, An Hoi Sculpture Garden, Hoi An Ancient Town, museums, craft villages, community venues and creative spaces across the area
Under the theme “A Journey to Touch Heritage and Creativity,” the event offers a journey through Hoi An’s distinctive cultural spaces, where local communities, artisans, designers, young people and creative groups can meet, exchange ideas and bring traditional values into contemporary life.
Throughout the week, visitors can enjoy exhibitions, art performances, talks, workshops and interactive experiences. They can learn directly about materials, techniques and craft-making processes; take part in the “Touching Tradition” and “Touching Creativity” spaces; attend the “The Art of the Entire Village” discussion series and the “Craft Villages Go Digital” programme; and explore craft villages, museums and creative spaces.
A key highlight is the interaction between handicrafts and design, as well as between folk art and technology. Through GPS-enabled maps, QR codes, interactive content and challenges at each destination, visitors can independently explore Hoi An’s heritage along their own personalised journey and experience traditional values through fresh and engaging approaches.
Pickleball World Cup 2026
Time: August 30–September 6, 2026
Venue: Tien Son Sports Arena, Tuyen Son Sports Village and central pickleball court complexes
The Pickleball World Cup 2026 marks the first time the competition will be held in Asia, with Da Nang selected as the host city.
The event is expected to bring together more than 4,000 athletes from approximately 80 countries and territories, creating an exciting series of competitions for pickleball communities from Vietnam and around the world.
Hosting a global-scale sporting competition further reinforces Da Nang’s appeal on the international events map. It will also contribute to the development of sports tourism, provide visitors with new experiences and promote the rapidly growing pickleball movement in Vietnam.
