This June, designer and artist Bill Bensley, three-Michelin-starred Chef Christian Le Squer, Michelin-starred Japanese chef Junichi Yoshida and leading culinary names from Vietnam, Hong Kong and Thailand will come together at InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort for Artisan Stories, a first-of-its-kind food and art festival unlike anything else in Vietnam.

Taking place from 6 to 11 June 2026, Artisan Stories brings six days of dining, art, craft and creative exchange to the Son Tra Peninsula. The festival is designed around one central idea: Art Meets Gastronomy. Across the week, guests can experience beachfront celebrations, Michelin-starred dining, Vietnamese culinary heritage, cocktail showcases, art activities, live music and collaborative dinners created specially for the festival.

Artisan Stories opens on 6 June with a grand Beach Party on Coconut Beach, setting the tone for the week with gourmet food kiosks, free-flow drinks, art activities, music and a special Beach BBQ Buffet & Bonfire in the evening. Culinary icon Anh Tuyet and Chef Loïc Portalier of one-Michelin-starred Louise in Hong Kong join the opening celebration, bringing Vietnamese heritage and French craft to the festival’s first day. It is an eventful afternoon by the sea, created for families, couples and groups who want to enjoy free-flow food, drinks and celebration in Danang’s most private beachfront setting.
The programme continues with Festival Sunday Brunch at Citron, where guests can enjoy a generous lunch experience with special culinary touches from visiting chefs, including Anh Tuyet. At Tingara, the Culinary Constellations series will bring together Japanese craft and guest-chef creativity through collaborative tasting menus from 7 to 10 June. The restaurant will also host A Very Special Evening with Chef Junichi Yoshida on 11 June.

The highlight of the festival is Bensley x Le Squer: The Art of Joie de Vivre, taking place at La Maison 1888 on 10 and 11 June. For two nights only, whimsical art meets haute cuisine as Bill Bensley’s new painting collection inspired by Son Tra’s red-shanked douc langurs becomes the creative starting point for Chef Christian Le Squer’s French haute cuisine. It is a rare encounter between visual art and three-Michelin-starred gastronomy, created specially for Danang.

Vietnamese cuisine also takes centre stage. Culinary icon Anh Tuyet, known for preserving the elegance of old Hanoi cuisine, joins the festival alongside leading Vietnamese chefs including Hoang Tung of T.U.N.G Dining and Cuong Nguyen of An’s Saigon. Their presence gives the festival a strong local voice while connecting Vietnam’s dining culture with international talent.

At L_o_n_g Bar, Bangkok-based mixologist Ohm Supapat will bring a drinks-led expression of craft through cocktail showcases, adding another lively layer to the festival’s evening programme. Artisan Stories celebrates creativity, place and people; bringing Danang’s growing culinary scene into sharper focus. For visitors, it offers a rare chance to experience Michelin-starred cuisine, Vietnamese heritage, contemporary cocktails, beachfront festivities and art-led storytelling in one festival.
