Mr. Cao Van Toi has established himself as a leader in freshwater fish farming in Phu Son Village (Hoa Khuong, Hoa Vang, Da Nang). With over 10 years of experience raising species like silver carp, grass carp, and mud carp, he boldly transitioned to climate-adaptive aquaculture in June 2019. He pioneered featherback fish farming in the region and successfully addressed the environmental pollution associated with traditional methods.
Featherback fish quickly gained popularity thanks to its delicious flavor and firm texture when Mr. Toi began processing and selling it online. Responding to the growing demand, he launched a state-of-the-art processing facility in November 2022, investing in advanced equipment and a streamlined production system that significantly boosted efficiency and output.
Mr. Toi’s business was officially registered on July 7, 2020, under License No. 32F8009351, issued by the Hoa Vang District People’s Committee. His product has earned widespread acclaim as a distinctive local specialty of Hoa Khuong. Furthermore, on May 17, 2022, the Phu Son Village Cooperative was officially established under Business Code 0402148214, and it now thrives with nine members, including four dynamic young entrepreneurs.
