On 08/7/2026, the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the announcement program for Enjoy Danang Festival 2026.
Taking place from 22/7 to 26/7/2026 at East Sea Park, tourism beaches and various destinations across the city, the Festival is a large-scale summer tourism event featuring a series of distinctive cultural, sports, entertainment, culinary and beach experience activities, contributing to affirming Da Nang as Asia’s leading festival and event destination.
Inspired by the 2026 tourism theme “Da Nang – Return to Origins”, the Festival is designed as an emotional journey of experiences with the message “Feel – Enjoy – Explore”. This is an invitation for visitors to return to the original values of the Quang region, from nature, culture and fishermen’s lives to the modern rhythm of a dynamic coastal city.
As part of Da Nang’s 2026 event series, this year’s Enjoy Danang Festival brings new highlights through an in-depth experiential approach, placing identity values and visitors’ emotions at the center. Beyond participating in entertainment activities, visitors will directly immerse themselves in local life, feel the rhythm of the sea, explore the culture of the Quang region and enjoy relaxing moments in nature. Each activity is a “touchpoint” for residents and visitors to connect with the city through the most genuine emotions.
Opening the journey is the Enjoy Danang Festival 2026 Opening Ceremony on the evening of 23/7/2026 at East Sea Park, An Hai Ward. The program is staged as a storytelling journey through site-specific performance art and theatrical presentation, recreating the distinctive cultural values of the Quang region – from coastal fishing villages, warm and heartfelt countryside markets, traditional craft villages to today’s modern lifestyle. Through site-specific performance art combined with music, dance, theatrical scenes and modern stage effects, the program promises to deliver an emotional opening night, spreading the cultural beauty and identity of the Central region to residents and visitors.
The Countryside Market & Culinary Space (17h00 – 22h30, from 22/7 to 26/7/2026) at East Sea Park is one of the highlight activities of Enjoy Danang Festival 2026. The space is designed as an exploratory journey, where visitors can not only savor the essence of signature cuisine but also experience and feel typical cultural values associated with local traditional craft villages, the international cuisine area and modern commercial models. With its diverse scale, rich content and creative form of presentation, this is expected to become one of the outstanding cultural – culinary experience spaces of Da Nang’s summer 2026.
The Da Nang Beach Experience Route and Art Kite Exhibition – Light Kite Night (18h00 – 22h00, from 23/7 to 26/7/2026) is organized at the northern beach area of East Sea Park. The space is designed in an open format with an artistic lighting system combined with marine cultural symbols such as basket boats, fishing nets, lanterns, bamboo materials and art installation clusters. The highlight of the space is approximately 500 traditional kites crafted from environmentally friendly materials, combined with artistic lighting effects and miniature scenes recreating childhood memories, contributing to creating an experiential and sightseeing space for residents and visitors to feel the sparkling atmosphere of Da Nang at night on the beach.
For the first time within the framework of the Festival, Da Nang introduces a completely new nighttime beach experience named Soiree of the Thousand Lights (18h00 – 22h00, from 24/7 – 26/7/2026) at the northern beach area of East Sea Park, expected to be an experience visitors cannot miss during this year’s Festival. Taking place over only 03 nights, with experiential activities priced from 129,000 VND – 199,000 VND, Soiree of the Thousand Lights offers a romantic nighttime beach space where visitors, together with family and friends, gather around glowing charcoal grills, enjoy rustic culinary combos typical of the Quang region, listen to gentle music, enjoy the sound of ocean waves and share summer stories. The activity promises to create a completely different experience, where nature, cuisine and emotions blend together in a memorable night.
Alongside cultural, entertainment and experiential activities is a series of activities connected with nature, wellness and a balanced lifestyle. Among them, Meditation to Touch Stillness (19h00 on 25/7/2026) will be held at Linh Ung Pagoda, Son Tra Peninsula, featuring meditation, tea enjoyment, sound healing and exchanges and sharing on a peaceful lifestyle in a tranquil space. The activity aims to offer residents and visitors relaxing experiences, energy renewal and mental balance.
And to feel an inspiring early-morning beach atmosphere, come to the activity Sunrise Beach Wellness Experience taking place at 05h00 on 26/7/2026 at East Sea Park. The program is expected to attract around 500 participants with activities such as yoga, breathing meditation, sun salutation yoga and community exchange, bringing positive energy to begin a new day amid Da Nang’s open sea-and-sky setting.
Visitors will experience summer 2026 through a series of unique journeys: Touching Nature – a walking journey to explore the pristine beauty of Son Tra Peninsula and enjoy tea on the breezy Ban Co Peak; Touching Origins – conquering the legendary Ngoc Linh Peak, hunting clouds and welcoming the sunrise at Tak Po, watching the sunset and birds returning to their nests at Song Dam, immersing in Gong dances and exploring the Po Mu forest; Touch the Taste of Da Nang – discovering culinary essence with Danang Food Tours; Touching Memories – a journey to return to and connect with timeless heritage lands, from ancient My Son, listening to the thousand-year melodies of the Champa Kingdom, to drifting along the poetic Hoai River in Hoi An Ancient Town, together with many other distinctive cultural and nature experiences.
Continuing the journey, from 23/7 – 25/7/2026, the program Experience the early morning – Fish Market at Man Thai Beach, Son Tra Ward, will bring visitors into the daily rhythm of local fishermen, offering experiences such as pulling fishing nets, selecting fresh seafood and enjoying breakfast by the sea with signature dishes such as squid instant noodles. This is a rare opportunity to feel a very different Da Nang – rustic, authentic and full of vitality.
The festive atmosphere continues to be enlivened with the EDM Entertainment Space on the Beach taking place from 18h00 – 22h30, from 22/7 – 26/7/2026 at My Khe Beach. Electronic music programs, DJs, pool parties and seaside entertainment activities will bring youthful and vibrant energy, contributing to a summer filled with explosive emotions.
In addition, the series of nightly art programs at the main stage of East Sea Park on 24 and 25/7/2026 will bring diverse cultural colors; from traditional art spaces featuring performances by the Co Tu and Xe Dang ethnic communities and Da Nang traditional arts to an international connection journey through modern music, acoustic performances and DJs, creating a picture of harmony between tradition and modernity.
A new highlight of this year’s Festival is the Digital Journey to Explore Da Nang, taking place throughout 22/7 – 26/7/2026. On Da Nang tourism’s digital platforms, visitors will participate in 10 exploration challenges at check-in points, festival activities and the city’s representative destinations. After completing the entire journey, participants will receive attractive gifts, contributing to creating a smart and highly interactive tourism experience.
Concluding the Festival’s series of activities is the program Re-Touching Da Nang Moments taking place on the evening of 26/7/2026 at the main stage of East Sea Park. The program will compile images, stories and memorable moments recorded throughout the Festival, contributing to spreading the experiences of residents and visitors. This is not only an activity to close the journey of Enjoy Danang Festival 2026 but also a promise to meet again, while revealing exciting highlights for the next Enjoy Danang Festival season so that residents and visitors can discover new products, events and experiences of Da Nang.
At the same time, from June to August 2026, the city is implementing the Da Nang Summer Tour Program 2026, continuing to introduce tourism products such as Danang Food Tours 2026 – Touch the Taste of Da Nang, tours connecting the southern part of the city, the “Return to Origins” journey Da Nang – Phu Ninh – Tak Po Peak and many other distinctive cultural and nature experiences.
In addition to cultural, artistic, culinary and experiential activities, Enjoy Danang Festival 2026 also features the Beach Sports Arena with many city-level and national-scale tournaments such as: Barefoot Beach Run; National Youth Beach Handball Championship; Beach Volleyball Tournament and Beach Football Tournament within the framework of the City Sports Festival; Son Tra – Da Nang SUP Race; Beach Sports Performance; Da Nang Beach Football Tournament 2026; VnExpress Da Nang International Marathon Herbalife Cup; National Junior, Youth and Children Table Tennis Championship; Hoa Cuong Ward – Da Nang Open Lion – Unicorn – Dragon Dance Performance Competition 2026 and the Finals of the Arena of Valor APL 2026 Esports Tournament.
Alongside the Festival, many connecting activities are also organized in localities, beaches, tourism areas and attractions across the city, such as the “Quang Phu – Colors of Summer” event series in Quang Phu Ward; An Bang Beach Festival; Co Co River Festival – Hoi An Tay 2026 “Co Co – The Flow of Heritage” in Hoi An Tay Ward; “Cu Lao Cham – Red Cotton Tree Flower Season” Festival 2026 in Tan Hiep Commune; and the cultural – tourism festival “Ky Anh Tunnels – Song Dam Reed Field” 2026 in Ban Thach Ward, contributing to expanding the festival space and bringing more experiences to residents and visitors throughout the city.
