According to the Organizing Committee of the 4th Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF IV), Korean actor Jung Il-woo will officially attend this year’s festival, taking place from June 28 to July 4, 2026, in Da Nang, Vietnam.
Jung Il-woo is one of South Korea’s most recognizable actors and has been beloved by audiences across Asia for nearly two decades. He rose to prominence through a series of hit television dramas, including High Kick!, 49 Days, Moon Embracing the Sun, The Vampire Diaries, Cinderella and Four Knights, and many other acclaimed productions.

Throughout his acting career, Jung Il-woo has received numerous prestigious awards at major ceremonies in Korea and across Asia, establishing himself as one of the leading stars of the Korean Wave (Hallyu).
Recently, he further strengthened his connection with Vietnamese audiences through the Vietnam–Korea co-production Mang Me Di Bo (Leave Mom Behind). The film not only attracted attention for its artistic value but also achieved impressive box-office success in Vietnam.
At DANAFF IV, Jung Il-woo will attend the Opening Ceremony on the evening of June 28, 2026, at the Ariyana International Convention Centre Da Nang.
He will also participate in a special screening of Mang Me Di Bo (Leave Mom Behind) followed by an exclusive audience meet-and-greet session, taking place from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on June 29, 2026 (Monday) at CGV Vinh Trung Plaza (4th Floor, GO! Shopping Mall, 255–257 Hung Vuong Street, Da Nang).
Jung Il-woo’s appearance is expected to be one of the highlights of DANAFF IV, further strengthening cultural and cinematic exchanges between Vietnam, South Korea, and countries across the region.
