DANAFF IV is pleased to introduce the jury panel for the Project Pitching Session of the Asian Art-house Projects category. The panel brings together distinguished professionals from international film festivals, project markets, and film organizations who will accompany filmmakers in the final stage of the DANAFF Project Incubator 2026.
The jury panel includes:


- Julien Rejl – Artistic Director of the Directors’ Fortnight, Cannes Film Festival
- Jacob Wong – Director of HKIFF Industry, Hong Kong International Film Festival; Berlinale Delegate for Chinese-language Cinema
- Oh Jung Wan – Producer, Founder of Bom Film Productions
- Yuni Hadi – Cultural Strategist and Producer
With extensive experience in film development, production, curation, and international project networking, the jury panel will support participating filmmakers as they present their projects and engage with the global film industry.

Award: The most outstanding project will receive an €8,000 prize presented by the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée (CNC).
Julien Rejl – Artistic Director of the Directors’ Fortnight, Cannes Film Festival
A graduate of La Fémis and ESCP, Julien Rejl was responsible for distribution, acquisitions, and international sales at Capricci from 2010 to 2020.
During this period, he collaborated with renowned filmmakers including Abel Ferrara, Hong Sang-soo, Albert Serra, Wang Bing, Tsai Ming-liang, Philippe Garrel, Monte Hellman, Corneliu Porumboiu, and Jean-Charles Hue. He also distributed debut features by Just Philippot (The Swarm), Vincent Le Port (Bruno Reidal), Frank Beauvais (Just Don’t Think I’ll Scream), Rachida Brakni (Visiting Ours), and Bi Gan’s Kaili Blues.
Rejl developed a strong editorial vision driven by his passion for cinema, overseeing theatrical re-releases of restored masterpieces by Jean-Luc Godard, Kenji Mizoguchi, Jean-Marie Straub and Danièle Huillet, Ingmar Bergman, Maurice Pialat, David Lynch, and David Cronenberg.
As a critic for Sofilm magazine, he served as program curator and artistic director of the festival founded by the publication from 2015 to 2019. Over the years, he has also edited numerous books on cinema.
He is currently supervising the complete archive project of Chantal Akerman’s works in collaboration with the Chantal Akerman Foundation and the Royal Belgian Film Archive. In June 2022, he was appointed Artistic Director of the Directors’ Fortnight by the French Directors’ Guild (SRF).
Jacob Wong – Director of HKIFF Industry, Hong Kong International Film Festival; Berlinale Delegate for Chinese-language Cinema
Jacob Wong is one of the most influential figures in Asian cinema. He currently serves as Director of the Industry Office of the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society (HKIFF Industry).
In this role, he oversees the Hong Kong – Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF), the HAF Film Lab, and the HKIFF Collection distribution fund, supporting independent filmmakers from early-stage project development and financing to international distribution and sales.
In addition to his leadership role in Hong Kong, Wong has served as the official Berlinale Delegate for Chinese-language cinema—including Mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong—since 2001.
He is also a strategic advisor and advisory board member for numerous major film events across the region, including the Nara International Film Festival in Japan. Known for accompanying filmmakers “from infancy to maturity,” he has spent decades supporting independent filmmakers in bringing their projects from script to screen.
Oh Jung Wan – Producer, Founder of Bom Film Productions
As a producer and founder of Bom Film Productions, Oh Jung Wan has consistently focused on producing distinctive films that challenge conventional cinematic norms.
Her impressive body of work includes critically acclaimed and commercially successful titles such as The Foul King (2000), A Tale of Two Sisters (2003), Untold Scandal (2003), A Bittersweet Life (2005), You Are My Sunshine (2005), Woman on the Beach (2006), Night and Day (2008), A Man and a Woman (2016), and most recently Wonderland (2024).
One of the most respected producers in the Korean film industry, she has also established a strong international reputation through pioneering cross-border co-productions with filmmakers from Hong Kong, Japan, and Thailand. In addition, she has served as a board member and jury member for numerous prestigious international film organizations and festivals.
Yuni Hadi – Cultural Strategist and Producer
Yuni Hadi is a cultural strategist and film producer. She has led several prominent non-profit arts and film organizations, including Objectifs Centre for Photography & Film, the Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF), and ArtsEquator.
Most recently, she served as Director of the Asian Film Pitch Project at the Bangkok International Film Festival 2025.
Hadi is an Eisenhower Fellow and was awarded the United Technologies Fellowship in 2016. In 2022, she received the Professional Achievement Award at the ASEAN Film Festival of Ramkhamhaeng University in recognition of her significant contributions to regional cinema.
She currently serves as Co-Chair of the Board of The Substation. Her notable film credits include producing Ilo Ilo (directed by Anthony Chen) and serving as Executive Producer of Ah Girl (directed by Ang Geck Geck).
The participation of these international experts is expected to provide valuable professional insights and create meaningful opportunities for Asian art-house film projects to connect with partners, investors, and international markets at DANAFF IV.
