The jury panel for the Vietnamese Genre Film Project Pitching Session at DANAFF IV brings together distinguished film producers and industry professionals with extensive experience in project development, film production, and international distribution. Their expertise and global industry networks will help guide, evaluate, and select the most promising projects participating in the DANAFF Talents program.




Lorna Tee – Producer, International Advisor (Barunson E&A), Secretary General of the Asian Film Alliance Network (AFAN)
Lorna Tee is a dynamic film producer working across Asia and Europe. Throughout her career, she has held management positions at Focus Films, Variety, Back Up Media, and Cinematheque Passion, while also playing key roles in major film festivals and industry events including Berlinale, CinemAsia, IFFAM, and many others.
She currently serves as a training program curator, International Advisor to Barunson E&A, Secretary General of the Asian Film Alliance Network (AFAN), and advisor to JAFF Market.
Her notable producing credits include The Beautiful Washing Machine, Rain Dogs, Crazy Stone, My Mother is a Bellydancer, The Shoe Fairy, At the End of Daybreak, Lover’s Discourse, Come Rain, Come Shine, Postcards from the Zoo, Mrs K, HBO’s Folklore episode Toyol, and Diamonds in the Sand.
She has received the Filmmaker of the Year Award from the Motion Picture Association in Malaysia and was named among The Hollywood Reporter’s Next-Gen talents.
Jimmy Yang – Producer and Distributor
Jimmy Yang is a veteran producer and film distributor with more than 26 years of experience in film and television licensing and distribution.
He has played a key role in bringing acclaimed international titles to audiences across Asia and beyond, including Les Choristes, Slumdog Millionaire, The Revenant, Bad Genius, La La Land, Green Book, Parasite, and Eye of the Storm.
As a producer, his documentary My Football Summer won Best Documentary at the prestigious Golden Horse Awards. He also produced Love in Disguise, the directorial debut of superstar Wang Leehom, which achieved significant commercial success across the pan-Asian market, including mainland China.
Miqi Huang – Vice President, Local Language Production for Greater China and Southeast Asia, Sony Pictures International Productions (SPIP)
Miqi Huang serves as Vice President of Local Language Production for Greater China and Southeast Asia at Sony Pictures International Productions (SPIP), where she leads the studio’s local-language film strategy across two of Asia’s most dynamic film markets.
Since joining SPIP in 2015, she has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s Chinese-language film slate and contributing to the success of major productions including The Bravest (2019), Monster Run (2020), and Wish Dragon (2021).
Beyond production, Huang has been instrumental in SPIP’s global acquisition and distribution strategy. She led the worldwide rollout of Jia Ling’s blockbuster YOLO (2024) and oversaw the international release of Tsui Hark’s Legends of the Condor Heroes: The Gallants (2025).
She has also spearheaded SPIP’s expansion into Southeast Asia. The studio’s first Thai-language feature film, a fresh adaptation of 50 First Dates produced in collaboration with leading Thai studio GDH, is scheduled for theatrical release this September, marking an important milestone in SPIP’s regional growth strategy.
Linda Gozali – Producer and Director of JAFF Market
Linda Gozali is an acclaimed Indonesian film producer and film industry strategist. She currently serves as Director of JAFF Market and co-founder of MAGMA Entertainment.
Her productions are recognized for successfully combining cultural authenticity with commercial appeal, including The Heartbreak Club (Sobat Ambyar) (2020) – the first Indonesian film released globally on Netflix; Qodrat (The Unholy) (2022), which helped revitalize the Islamic horror genre; and Qodrat 2 (2025), a major box-office success during the Eid holiday season.
Her latest production, Badut Gendong (Dance of the Damned) (2026), part of the QODRAT cinematic universe, has received critical acclaim and audience recognition as one of the year’s most notable horror films.
After more than 25 years in capital markets, Linda entered the film industry with a vision focused on intellectual property development, sustainability, and cross-border collaboration. She has served as Secretary General of the Indonesian Film Producers Association (APROFI) since 2016 and was Secretary General of the Indonesian Film Festival Committee from 2021 to 2023.
Since taking leadership of JAFF Market in 2024, she has helped establish it as Indonesia’s first and only film market connecting the Asia-Pacific film industry. Under her direction, JAFF Market has evolved into a professional marketplace that facilitates co-production opportunities, international financing, and global partnerships, further strengthening the position of Indonesian cinema on the world stage.
Following an intensive period of project development and mentorship with industry experts, participants of the Script Lab program will present their projects before the jury panel, which includes representatives from film studios, distribution companies, and international film markets.
The pitching session provides an important opportunity for emerging filmmakers to showcase their projects, receive professional feedback, and explore potential collaborations with industry partners from across the region and beyond.
