To further promote the MICE tourism market and enhance the image of Da Nang as a premier destination, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Danang, in collaboration with Vietravel Corporation, has organized the reception of a large-scale MICE delegation of approximately 5,000 visitors who will visit, stay, and participate in various activities across the city in 2026.
This is one of the largest MICE groups visiting Da Nang in 2026, reaffirming the city’s capability to successfully host professional events and MICE tourism activities while strengthening its position as a leading destination in Central Vietnam and the country as a whole.
From 1–3 June 2026, Da Nang welcomed 5,000 MICE delegates from WinCommerce General Commercial Services Joint Stock Company. Operated by Vietravel Corporation, the program included conferences, sightseeing tours, tourism experiences, resort stays, culinary activities, and networking events at various attractions throughout the city.
To support the large-scale delegation, the Da Nang City Police closely coordinated security operations, traffic management, and route regulation in areas where the group traveled, stayed, and held events, ensuring that all activities were conducted safely, smoothly, and efficiently.
In addition, the Department of Construction of Da Nang coordinated transportation support plans and route guidance, facilitating logistics and operational arrangements for the delegation throughout their stay in the city. Da Nang Railway Transport Branch also supported the reception and departure of delegates at Da Nang Railway Station, ensuring safe, convenient, and orderly transportation services.

Alongside its efforts to attract large-scale visitor groups, Da Nang continues to refine its MICE tourism development policies toward greater professionalism and sustainability. The city’s MICE tourism promotion program, launched in 2021, has generated positive results and has been further enhanced in 2026 under the theme “Da Nang – Elevating the MICE Experience.” The upgraded program expands support policies for both domestic and international businesses and MICE groups.
Notably, Da Nang’s tourism sector has introduced the “MICE – The Rising Wave” Award for the first time, recognizing enterprises that made outstanding contributions to attracting MICE visitors in 2025. The honored companies are pioneers in market development, active partners in the city’s MICE program, and successful organizers of numerous large-scale events that have brought high-quality visitor flows to Da Nang. This initiative not only acknowledges the role of the business community but also demonstrates the city’s commitment to fostering a dynamic, professional, and highly competitive MICE tourism ecosystem.
During the first five months of 2026, Da Nang provided consultation and welcomed approximately 101 domestic and international MICE groups, totaling around 28,428 delegates. Of these, international visitors accounted for approximately 18,908 arrivals, while domestic visitors totaled around 9,520 arrivals.
Overall, MICE tourism activities in the first five months of 2026 maintained strong growth momentum, particularly in the international segment, with an increasing number of delegations arriving from India, Malaysia, China, Singapore, and multinational markets.
