On the evening of May 31, 2024, at 7:00 PM, the Son Tra District People’s Committee will proudly host the opening ceremony for the night tourism services on Nguyen Van Troi Bridge and East Park of Nguyen Van Troi Bridge, to be held at the East Park of Nguyen Van Troi Bridge.
This event is poised to become a captivating new attraction for residents and tourists in Son Tra District, Danang City. The program will be broadcast live on the Danang FantastiCity Fanpage and social media platforms.
The opening ceremony features an enchanting Áo Dài performance and fashion show under the theme “A Glimpse of the Han River,” to be held at the East Park stage beneath Nguyen Van Troi Bridge. A diverse array of over 20 artists and models will grace the stage with a stunning display of Áo Dài designs, complemented by captivating musical performances by renowned singers. This program is being orchestrated by the Center for Culture, Information, and Sports of Son Tra District in collaboration with the Culture and Information Division of Sơn Trà District People’s Committee and VKSTAR AODAISHOW Da Nang Company.
Following the Áo Dài performance, a Street Dance Festival will feature over 300 dancers. The festival will take place on Tran Hung Đao Street, from the foot of Tran Thi Ly Bridge to the intersection with Bui Thi Xuan Street, under the theme “Glistening Han River.” This event is being organized by the Culture and Information Division of the Sơn Trà District People’s Committee in collaboration with related units.
Concurrently, an art performance program titled “Son Tra – The Musical Rendezvous” will showcase unique and attractive performances by young singers such as Huu Duc, Viet Hung, Hoang Khuyen, Kieu Loan, and Son Tra Band. The Son Tra District Center for Culture, Information, and Sports organizes this program.
The opening ceremony is part of a series of activities organized by the Danang City People’s Committee under the Pilot Plan for night-time tourism services on Nguyen Van Troi Bridge and East Park of Nguyen Van Troi Bridge. The aim is to introduce, promote, and attract a large number of locals and tourists to participate in and experience night tourism services at this location.
As per the approved plan, the first phase (from the first quarter of 2024 to the end of 2024) will encompass diverse activities in the area. These will include decorative lighting at check-in points, photo exhibitions, music performances (including traditional and lyrical music), street dance festivals, flashmob events, yoga festivals, street art, book fairs, beer festivals, and more in the parking area. Additionally, community activities, fitness and sports, qigong, jogging, chess competitions, painting contests, walking tours, children’s games, and mobile stalls offering fast food, beverages, and souvenirs will be organized.
It is anticipated that the night-time tourism services on Nguyen Van Troi Bridge and East Park of Nguyen Van Troi Bridge will positively impact the city’s tourism development in general and Son Tra District in particular in 2024 and the subsequent years.
