On the evening of October 2, 2025, Da Nang City welcomed flight CZ8155 of China Southern Airlines (code: CZ), carrying more than 170 passengers from Shenzhen (China), which landed at Da Nang International Airport.
The welcome ceremony took place solemnly at the arrival hall of Terminal T2 – Da Nang International Airport, with the presence of leaders from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Foreign Affairs, Da Nang International Airport Authority, Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company (AHT), and other relevant agencies.
Upon landing, passengers on the flight were warmly greeted with traditional cultural performances and presented with souvenir gifts.
According to Ms. Trương Thị Hồng Hạnh, Director of the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism: “China is one of the key international markets for Da Nang tourism, with stable growth in visitor numbers and consistently ranking second among international source markets to the city for many years. The return of China Southern Airlines and the launch of the Shenzhen – Da Nang route mark an important milestone, contributing to strengthening trade and tourism connectivity between the two destinations.
At the same time, it promises growth in the number of Chinese visitors to Da Nang in the near future. Da Nang’s tourism sector will continue to make efforts in promoting and marketing tourism, as well as restoring flight routes from major Chinese cities to Da Nang in the coming time.”
According to Ms. Mairehaba Yisilayili, Representative of China Southern Airlines in Vietnam: “According to the plan, China Southern Airlines will operate six round-trip flights with a specific schedule on October 2, 6, 10, 14, 18, and 22, 2025.
