From December 1, 2026, Thai Airways will officially operate direct flights between Bangkok (BKK) and Da Nang (DAD), offering travelers a more convenient option for journeys between Thailand and Central Vietnam while further expanding Da Nang’s international air connectivity.
According to the planned schedule, Thai Airways will operate two daily flights in each direction between Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok and Da Nang International Airport.
On the Bangkok – Da Nang route, flight TG558 will depart at 08:00 and arrive in Da Nang at 09:45, while flight TG594 will depart at 16:20 and arrive at 18:05.
On the Da Nang – Bangkok route, flight TG559 will depart Da Nang at 10:45 and arrive in Bangkok at 12:40, while flight TG595 will depart at 19:05 and arrive at 21:00.
The introduction of Thai Airways’ daily services between Da Nang and Bangkok will create favorable conditions for attracting more Thai visitors to Da Nang, while increasing passenger capacity and promoting two-way tourism exchanges between the two destinations.

With its geographical proximity and convenient travel time, Da Nang is an ideal destination for Thai travelers seeking short getaways. The city offers beautiful beaches, a diverse range of accommodation, distinctive cuisine, entertainment attractions, and a year-round calendar of festivals and events.
From Da Nang, Thai travelers can also conveniently extend their journeys to explore cultural, natural, and heritage destinations across the region. This provides a strong foundation for tourism businesses to develop new leisure packages, group tours, MICE programs, and itineraries combining multiple experiences within a single journey.
Thai Airways’ presence on the route will also diversify air travel options between Da Nang and Bangkok, enabling travel agencies, accommodation providers, and tourism service businesses to strengthen cooperation, promote the destination, and develop products tailored to the preferences of Thai travelers.
In addition to attracting visitors directly from Thailand, the new route will enhance Da Nang’s ability to welcome international travelers via Bangkok, one of the region’s major aviation hubs.
With a network connecting more than 60 destinations across Asia, Europe, and Australia, Thai Airways will enable travelers from a wide range of international markets to conveniently transit through Bangkok before continuing their journeys to Da Nang. This advantage is particularly significant for markets without direct flights to the city and for travelers seeking multi-destination experiences.
As Thailand’s national carrier and a member of Star Alliance, Thai Airways’ launch of the direct Bangkok – Da Nang route is expected to diversify Da Nang’s visitor markets, strengthen its international air connectivity, and further enhance the city’s position within the regional and global tourism network.
