Da Nang, January 6, 2026 – Continuing to reaffirm its position as a leading professional, friendly, and attractive MICE destination in Vietnam and the region, Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism officially launches the 2026 Program to Promote and Attract MICE Tourism to Da Nang (hereinafter referred to as Da Nang MICE 2026 Program). The program features many practical and innovative initiatives, placing businesses and the experiential value of MICE groups at the heart of its approach.
Speaking on the implementation direction of the 2026 Program to Promote and Attract MICE Tourism, Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, emphasized: “Since 2022, the Program to Promote and Attract MICE Tourism to Da Nang has proven its credibility and practical effectiveness, becoming a key motivating factor for enterprises when selecting destinations and local service providers for organizing MICE events. In the coming period, we will continue to leverage our existing strengths and enhance public–private partnerships to address resource limitations, thereby providing more practical support to businesses and attracting an increasing number of MICE groups to Da Nang.”

Da Nang Tourism Welcomes the First MICE Delegation on January 4, 2026
Entering 2026, the Program to Promote and Attract MICE Tourism to Da Nang will be implemented under the theme “Da Nang – Elevating Your MICE Experience”, applied from January 1 to December 31, 2026. The city aims to welcome and support nearly 93,000 MICE visitors, representing an increase of approximately 12% compared to 2025.
Da Nang MICE 2026 Program: Elevating Experiences – Enhancing Partnership Value
In addition to maintaining existing support policies such as welcome arrangements, gifts, event organization consultancy, and media connectivity, Da Nang MICE 2026 Program focuses on three key new highlights.
First, the program adjusts the eligible group size, applying to domestic MICE groups of 70 participants or more and international MICE groups of 30 participants or more. This adjustment aims to improve applicability and broaden the program’s outreach, particularly for international MICE groups.
For the first time, the recognition and appreciation of outstanding MICE enterprises are designed to deliver tangible and time-bound promotional value for companies bringing MICE groups to Da Nang. Incentives include maintaining the enterprise’s name and logo on the Da Nang MICE tourism information platform, free placement of promotional materials for a period of 6–12 months, and participation in domestic and international tourism promotion activities at preferential costs.
Another important new feature of Da Nang MICE 2026 Program is a dedicated support policy for repeat MICE groups returning to Da Nang for the second time or more. Accordingly, returning enterprises and groups will be recognized as “Loyal MICE Partners” and will receive experience vouchers for new tourism products and services, along with preferential pricing offered by the network of partner enterprises.
Partnering with Businesses – Strengthening Engagement in International Markets
In parallel with the MICE group support program, Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism calls on local tourism enterprises to enhance cooperation in promoting Da Nang as a MICE destination. A key focus is joint coordination in developing the MICE Standards Toolkit – the “MICE Standard Checklist”, aimed at standardizing the quality of event organization services.
At the same time, enterprises are invited to collaborate in launching professional MICE publications featuring leading MICE service providers, as well as to jointly develop tailored MICE product packages such as conference–resort–teambuilding combinations, conferences integrated with cultural and culinary experiences, and Central Vietnam heritage tourism. These initiatives are intended to enhance competitiveness and add greater value to MICE groups visiting Da Nang.
Reaffirming Da Nang’s Position as a Leading MICE Destination
In 2025, the Program to Promote and Attract MICE Tourism continued to record impressive growth results. During the year, the city received registrations for consultation support and hosted 250 MICE groups with more than 82,000 visitors, including approximately 43,000 domestic visitors and 39,000 international visitors.
At the time Da Nang MICE 2026 Program was issued, the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also recorded clear positive signals from the MICE market in the first half of January 2026.

Notably, a number of medium- and large-scale international MICE groups selected Da Nang as their destination for conferences, incentive travel, and combined leisure programs. Typical examples include Supabase Group (240 participants, January 8–18, 2026), QuantumEdge Capital Group (160 participants, January 11–16, 2026), and Kara Coconut, a Singapore-based company (85 participants, January 4–7, 2026). These groups demonstrate the relevance and effectiveness of Da Nang MICE 2026 Program, particularly for MICE groups organized with flexible scales.
The positive signals recorded at the beginning of the year are expected to create strong momentum for MICE tourism attraction throughout 2026, further reinforcing Da Nang’s position as a trusted destination chosen by international corporations and enterprises.
