On the morning of 10 September 2026, at APEC Park, the Da Nang City People’s Committee held the Launch Ceremony of the Photo Contest “Global Eyes on Da Nang”, officially opening a space for residents, visitors, and the international community to capture and share their own perspectives on the city.
The contest also aims to promote cultural exchange and strengthen connections between the city authorities and the international community, thereby contribThe contest aims to promote the image of Da Nang, encourage cultural exchange and people-to-people diplomacy, while developing a professional image database to support the city’s external relations, international cooperation, and communication activities.
Entries should showcase the diverse beauty of Da Nang through four main themes: Da Nang – A Destination of Heritage and Nature; Heartbeat of the City; Cultural Exchange – The Mark of Global Integration; and Da Nang – A Liveable City from a Fresh Angle. Through each photograph, different stories, moments, and impressions of Da Nang’s landscapes, people, culture, and daily life will be captured from diverse perspectives.
The contest is open to Vietnamese citizens and foreign nationals, with no age limit. Outstanding entries will be selected for exhibition and considered for inclusion in the Da Nang Photo Book “Da Nang – Telling the World” (“Đà Nẵng – Kết nối và kể chuyện cùng thế giới”), to be used in the city’s external relations and international cooperation activities.
