Korean actor Ji Chang Wook will officially attend the 4th Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF IV), taking place from June 28 to July 4, 2026. The information was recently confirmed by the DANAFF IV Organizing Committee and has attracted significant attention from film enthusiasts in Vietnam and abroad.
As one of the leading Hallyu stars of the Korean screen, Ji Chang Wook is widely recognized for his versatile acting skills and enduring popularity throughout his career. Born in 1987, the actor has built a large fan base across Asia, including Vietnam.

Throughout his career, Ji Chang Wook has made his mark through a variety of acclaimed television productions across different genres. Audiences who enjoy healing and heartfelt stories may remember him from Welcome to Samdal-ri (Romance, Drama), set against the picturesque backdrop of Jeju Island. In Lovestruck in the City (Romance), he delivered a realistic portrayal of love and youth amid the pace of modern urban life. Meanwhile, Backstreet Rookie (Romance, Comedy) showcased a more approachable, charming, and humorous side of the actor.

According to the Organizing Committee, Ji Chang Wook will attend the DANAFF IV Opening Ceremony on the evening of June 28 at Ariyana International Convention Centre Da Nang. The actor has also confirmed his participation in Korean Film Night on June 29, one of the festival’s key international exchange events this year.

DANAFF IV will take place from June 28 to July 4, 2026 under the slogan “DANAFF – Bridging Asia to the World.” The event is jointly organized by the Da Nang People’s Committee and the Vietnam Film Development Association (VFDA), bringing together filmmakers, artists, cinema professionals, and outstanding films from Vietnam, Asia, and around the world.
Ji Chang Wook’s participation is expected to be one of the festival’s highlights, contributing to stronger cultural and cinematic connections between Vietnam, South Korea, and countries across the region.
