In implementation of Plan No. 173/KH-UBND dated April 10, 2026 issued by the People’s Committee of Da Nang City regarding the organization of the Da Nang Food Tour Festival 2026, on May 7, 2026, the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism officially announced the Da Nang Food Tour Festival 2026 — a vibrant celebration promising a dynamic, multi-sensory festival season that showcases the tourism identity of Da Nang through the rich cultural stories of Quang cuisine.

The Da Nang Food Tour Festival 2026 will take place from May 20 to May 24, 2026 at East Sea Park, Tam Thanh Beach Square, and various locations across the city. The festival opens up a unique journey of culinary, cultural, and travel experiences, where the stories of local people, landscapes, and Quang heritage are expressed through modern and immersive interpretations designed to awaken every sense of visitors.

With the ambition of positioning Da Nang as one of the region’s leading culinary destinations, this year’s festival expands both in scale and creativity, featuring more than 100 booths, 70 vibrant street-food carts, and a spectacular multi-sensory music festival by the beach. Beyond simply tasting local specialties, visitors are invited to truly “touch,” “feel,” and “live” the culinary culture through a series of interactive experiences that recreate the culinary landscape of Quang cuisine — from traditional roots to contemporary inspirations.

Unmissable Highlights at Da Nang Food Tour Festival 2026

Opening the festival series is the “Da Nang Flavor Parade” at 5:00 PM on May 20, 2026 — a first-of-its-kind cultural parade recreating the lively street-food atmosphere of Quang land. More than 70 creatively designed food carts will showcase a diverse range of local specialties, seafood, mountain flavors, international cuisine, and refreshing summer beverages. Stretching along Pham Van Dong Beach, the parade invites visitors into familiar memories of Central Vietnam. The distinctive street calls of local vendors blend with the rhythmic movement of cyclos carrying baskets of hometown flavors, creating a vibrant and emotional cultural flow. More than a visual spectacle, the “Da Nang Flavor Parade” serves as a creative tribute to Da Nang’s culinary identity.

Continuing the celebration, the Opening Ceremony of Da Nang Food Tour 2026 will take place at 7:30 PM on May 21 at East Sea Park, bringing to life the story of Quang cuisine through emotionally rich performances. The stage is elaborately produced with a combination of music, lighting, choreography, and live culinary presentations, illustrating the journey from humble village kitchens to modern urban life. The fusion of performing arts and direct culinary experiences creates an immersive festival atmosphere where audiences do not simply watch, but become part of the cultural story itself. The opening night is expected to become one of the festival’s most memorable highlights, marking the beginning of a vibrant and identity-rich celebration season.

The “Essence of Quang Cuisine” Space (4:00 PM – 11:00 PM, May 20–24, 2026) at East Sea Park will gather more than 200 local, regional, and international food booths alongside OCOP products and signature agricultural specialties. Designed as an open and welcoming space, the area offers a rich culinary exploration where visitors can not only enjoy Quang specialties but also discover the diverse cultural values and stories behind each dish.

Visitors can also immerse themselves in the artistic check-in space “Colors of Quang Land” (May 20–24, 2026) at East Sea Park — a visually creative highlight of the festival. Large-scale installations and miniatures recreate iconic dishes, traditional Quang kitchens, basket boats of the coastal villages, and cultural exchange spaces. The harmonious combination of color, lighting, and design creates vivid visual experiences, allowing visitors to “touch” local culinary culture while capturing memorable festival moments.

The festive atmosphere reaches its peak with a series of attractive promotions and combo offers, especially during Beer Fest Night (4:00 PM – 11:00 PM, May 23, 2026) at East Sea Park. The beer festival promises an energetic atmosphere with music performances, interactive games, and more than 5,000 Food & Beer combo sets. Starting from only VND 89,000 and VND 179,000, visitors can fully enjoy the entertainment and culinary space, savor local dishes, receive gifts, and immerse themselves in the lively festival ambiance.

Continuing the emotional journey is the Grand Music Festival at 7:00 PM on May 24, 2026, designed as a “multi-sensory concert” where music, lighting, and gastronomy blend into one immersive experience. The event will feature renowned Vietnamese artists including Noo Phuoc Thinh, (S)TRONG Trong Hieu, Karik, DJ Mie, Kimmese, Orange, and many others, creating a modern, vibrant, and emotional atmosphere for audiences.

The festival also introduces a fresh perspective on culinary culture through the “Experience the Essence of Quang Land” Space (6:00 PM – 10:00 PM, May 20–24) at East Sea Park. Here, visitors can not only taste local dishes but also directly participate in cooking activities, folk games, and traditional crafts such as fishing-net weaving, cake making, and seafood preparation. The multi-sensory interactive environment creates meaningful connections, transforming cuisine into a bridge between past and present.

The festival extends beyond the city center with the “Taste of the Sea” Culinary Fair (4:00 PM – 10:00 PM, May 22–24, 2026) at Tam Thanh Beach Square, offering experiences deeply rooted in the coastal spirit of Central Vietnam. Visitors can immerse themselves in the atmosphere of fishing villages and traditional craft communities, enjoy fresh seafood, explore regional specialties alongside famous chefs, and experience lively beer festival activities and nightly art performances.

In addition, the “Hoi An Dong Traditional Cake Festival” (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, May 23, 2026) at Cam Chau Market celebrates the culinary heritage of Quang land. Visitors will have the opportunity to make traditional cakes together with artisans and appreciate the meticulous craftsmanship behind every step. The nostalgic setting transforms humble local cakes into symbols of cultural memory and heritage preservation.

Within the framework of the festival, Da Nang will also introduce the Danang Food Tours 2026 series, expected to launch from May and continue throughout the year, featuring five culinary journeys: Da Nang Food Tour, Hoi An Food Tour, Dien Ban Food Tour, Tam Ky Food Tour, and Dai Loc Food Tour. These tours are designed with a deeper experiential approach, expanding the culinary journey southward and into neighboring areas while connecting cuisine with local life, community livelihoods, and heritage spaces.

The Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also partners with Green SM as the festival’s “Mobility Sponsor”, offering discounts of up to 20% per ride for visitors participating in food tours and staying within the city. The collaboration enhances travel convenience, strengthens destination connectivity, and enriches the overall visitor experience.

Partner Collaboration – Connecting Technology and Celebrating Local Culinary Heritage

The Da Nang Food Tour Festival 2026 strongly promotes digital transformation and connectivity in the culinary and tourism sectors with the participation of ShopeeFood as the official technology partner. For the first time, the Da Nang Culinary Digital Map – ShopeeFood will be introduced, helping visitors conveniently discover, select, and experience culinary destinations throughout the city.

Joining the festival’s journey of honoring local culinary culture is Larue Beer — a brand of HEINEKEN Vietnam that has accompanied the people of Da Nang since 1909. Deeply connected with Central Vietnam, Larue reflects a profound understanding of local culinary and cultural life. More than a familiar beverage, Larue has long become part of the complete culinary experience for both locals and visitors.

With a rich lineup of creative and culturally distinctive activities, alongside the partnership of Foody Corporation (ShopeeFood), HEINEKEN Vietnam Brewery (Larue), and Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company (AHT), the Da Nang Food Tour Festival 2026 promises to become a major attraction on the regional tourism map. More than simply a culinary event, the festival is an experiential journey where the culture, people, and rhythm of life in Da Nang are brought to life through emotional and immersive storytelling.

The fusion of tradition and modernity presents a fresh and compelling tourism image aligned with contemporary travel trends. Through this festival, Da Nang continues to affirm its position as one of the region’s leading destinations for culinary and experiential tourism — an invitation for visitors to explore, indulge, and create unforgettable memories in this dynamic coastal city.
