Up to now, there are 32 TEST samples for new strain of Corona virus, there has not been a positive case for new strain of Corona virus.
At 8:00 AM on 01/02/2020, in Danang city are monitoring 21 cases of suspected acute respiratory infection due to new strain of Corona virus (nCov), including:
- 04 cases of foreigners (Chinese) being monitored (03 cases are monitored at Da Nang hospital, 01 case is monitored at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital).
- 17 cases are Vietnamese (13 cases are being monitored at Da Nang hospital, 04 cases are being monitored at Lung Hospital).
Currently the health of many patients has stabilized, some cases with mild fever.
So far, 64 cases have been tracked in hospitals, of which: 43 cases have been discharged: 22 cases of foreigners (19 Chinese; 02 Malaysians; 01 Czech) and 21 cases Vietnam.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is continuing to monitor 13 cases in the community (cases coming from abroad but not from an infected area, when detected withmild fever, or cases having close contact with suspected cases or cases in the community), currently 13/13 cases are in normal health. Up to now, 25 cases have been monitored daily (of which 12 cases are normal health and have returned home).
On January 31, 2020, the Center for Disease Control of the city monitored 78 vehicles with 9,132 foreign visitors entering the city, no detected cases of passengers with signs of abnormal health.
Also on January 31, 2019, the Department of Health Inspectorate coordinated with the Medical Practice Administration Department to organize the inspection of the supply of drugs and medical supplies to prevent acute pneumonia caused by nCov. Through inspection, in general, drug wholesale and retail establishments in the city have listed prices and there is no phenomenon of raising prices as well as speculation and hoarding.
The Department of Health recommends that people and tourists take the initiative in taking preventive measures such as using masks correctly, washing hands frequently with soap, avoiding contact with people with symptoms of cough, fever.
