On the morning of June 22, 2025, Da Nang’s beach burst with vitality as nearly 1,500 participants embraced the spirit of the 2025 Barefoot Beach Run – a remarkable blend of sports and tourism under the Enjoy Danang Festival 2025, co-organized by the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Da Nang Tourism Association, Da Nang Hotel Association, and Ariyana International Convention Centre Danang.
Building on the triumph of the 2024 edition, this year’s event not only flourished in scope but also showcased a more professional organization and radiated an even more vibrant atmosphere. The 4km beachside route, starting and finishing at Ariyana ICC Danang, provided an uplifting journey immersed in nature for everyone, from professional athletes to locals, students, and international visitors.
A SYMBOL OF HEALTHY LIVING AND COMMUNITY CONNECTION
More than just a race, the Barefoot Beach Run has evolved into a powerful symbol of a vibrant, healthy lifestyle and community unity. Families with young children, friends, and local clubs joined together on the soft white sand, radiating positive energy and crafting unforgettable summer memories in the stunning coastal city of Da Nang.
This year’s event attracted a diverse crowd of participants from both Vietnam and abroad, leaving a lasting impression of Da Nang as a breathtaking seaside destination. Many families and young people embraced the event as a meaningful way to bond, spread joy, and create unforgettable summer experiences, fostering a sense of global community.
During the closing ceremony, top-performing runners were celebrated for their remarkable achievements. In the men’s category, Le Trong Phu (Bib No. 399) secured first place, followed by Le Dinh Anh Tu (Bib No. 204) in second and Tran Minh Quy (Bib No. 663) in third. For the women, Bui Thi Ngan (Bib No. 337) claimed first place, with Nguyen Thi Diem (Bib No. 1328) and Le Thi Phuong (Bib No. 171) taking second and third, respectively.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Quynh, Vice President of the Danang Tourism Association and Chairman of the Danang Hotel Association, expressed:

At the awards ceremony, outstanding athletes in both men’s and women’s categories were recognized in a festive, energetic atmosphere. The awards celebrated individual accomplishments while inspiring a wider community passionate about fitness, travel, and exploration.
