Tourism stimulus program to attract visitors to Da Nang City in the last months of 2025 “New Da Nang – New Experience”

With the goal of promoting and positioning Da Nang’s destination brand in a new standing, contributing to the target of welcoming 17.3 million visitor arrivals in 2025, and with the approval of the Da Nang People’s Committee, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Plan No. 141/KH-VHTTDL dated August 11, 2025, on the implementation of the tourism stimulus program to attract visitors to Da Nang City in the last months of 2025 under the theme “New Da Nang – New Experience.”

The program is joined by more than 300 partners, including Sun Group, Vingroup, Mikazuki, DHC, Hoiana…; museums, heritage sites, tourist attractions; airlines, tourist accommodation establishments, travel agencies, restaurants, shopping venues, over 200 tourism service businesses across the city; and technology solution providers VNPAY, TripC AI.

The program emphasizes the diversity and richness of Da Nang’s tourism products and services, integrating digital transformation into all tourism stimulus offerings to deliver more value and fresh experiences to visitors.

The tourism stimulus program in the last months of 2025 comprises 05 special programs and 02 entirely new solutions:

I. FIVE SPECIAL PROGRAMS – NEW EXPERIENCES

PROGRAM 01: Enjoy Danang – Diverse Experiences

Duration: From August 15 – October 31, 2025, focusing on the National Day holiday on September 2.

Program Details:

Introduce the full range of Da Nang’s distinctive tourism products and services through existing promotional programs, National Day celebrations, the “Da Nang Tourism Experience Megasale – September 5, 2025,” and attractive discounts and gifts:

National Day Promotions (September 2, 2025): 100% discount on admission tickets at Da Nang Museum, Cham Sculpture Museum, Fine Arts Museum, Sa Huynh Culture Museum, Hoi An Museum, Trade Ceramics Museum, Folk Culture Museum, Traditional Medicine Museum, Local Products Museum; 40% discount at Dong Dinh Museum, Marble Sculpture Memory Museum, etc.

Da Nang Tourism Experience Megasale (September 5, 2025 – Friday): Up to 50% off services such as accommodation, dining, and entertainment. Examples: New Orient Hotel – only 10 rooms at 50% off; Fusion Resort & Villas Da Nang – 50% off published room rates; Wink Hotel Vietnam – Wink Hotel Key Rings; East Heaven Gate (Dong Giang) – 50% off entrance tickets; Dong Dinh Museum – 50% off; CSO Gallery – 100 vouchers at 50% off; “Warm Winter Cool Summer” Tea House – 40% discount voucher for service experiences, etc.

Special entertainment offers for Central Vietnam, the Central Highlands, and residents of “New Da Nang”: Sunworld Ba Na Hills, VinWonders Nam Hoi An, Hoi An Memories, East Heaven Gate (Dong Giang), Than Tai Mountain Hot Springs, Mikazuki Resorts & Spa, etc. Special Ba Na Hills combo packages include 2-night stays at 3/4/5-star hotels plus Ba Na cable car tickets (excluding transport) from VND 990,000 / 1,190,000 / 1,790,000 per guest, with added gift vouchers for shows, accommodation, dining, etc.

Sunworld Ba Na Hills: “Proud Vietnam” Program offering 30% – 40% discount; Validity: August 30 – September 30, 2025; Applicable to: Vietnamese visitors; Details: + Up to 40% discount on cable car tickets, up to 30% discount on cable car and lunch buffet combo tickets, + Entrance tickets: only VND 350,000 for children and senior citizens, VND 550,000 for adults, + Entrance and lunch buffet combo tickets: only VND 550,000 for children, VND 880,000 for adults.

New tourism experiences: Industrial tourism (visiting Truong Hai Chu Lai auto assembly plant, Heineken brewery, Sunkraft craft beer), medical and wellness tourism (Ngoc Linh ginseng growing areas, Po Mu heritage gardens).

Weekly mini-games with vouchers for accommodation, dining, and entertainment, including giveaways at the airport.

Special gifts for booking Da Nang tour combos via participating travel agencies (list attached) and OTA Traveloka: over 20,000 free vouchers and 20–50% discounts on accommodations, entertainment, attractions, cuisine, shows, Han River cruises, and discounts for SM Green taxis in Da Nang (valid until the end of 2025).

Special policies for MICE tourism, educational tourism, and golf tourism.

Night flight incentives.

PROGRAM 2: Three Exclusive Experience Passports in Da Nang – Da Nang Food Tour, Da Nang Heritage Tour, Da Nang Green Tour

Holding one of these three passports entitles visitors/residents to five privileges:

  • Direct discounts or gifts at participating locations (updated regularly at enjoydanang.vn).
  • Free admission to Hoi An Memories Park for passport holders.
  • Online payment incentives with VNPAY.
  • Transportation discounts with XanhSM and Grab.
  • Special rewards for the first collectors of different stamps, with prize value increasing based on the number of stamps collected.

Passports are available in both physical and digital formats on the TripC platform.

Validity: From September 1, 2025 – March 31, 2026.

Distribution Points for Physical Passports:

  • Tourist Support Centers at Da Nang International Airport, 18 Hung Vuong (Hai Chau Ward), and 47 Phan Chau Trinh (Hoi An Ward).
  • Heritage passports available on airport trolleys at Da Nang International Airport.
  • Through online/offline mini-games at festivals, events, Hoi An Ancient Town, Bach Dang pedestrian street, etc.

Digital Passports: Registration via TripC Da Nang mobile app.

Da Nang Culinary Journey – Da Nang Food Tour

– Quantity: 10,000 physical passports, 10,000 online passports.

– Over 100 unique culinary destinations: 01 diverse culinary complex, 01 culinary–heritage resort, 01 distinctive local coffee chain, 30 local culinary venues, 20 regional culinary venues, 40 international culinary venues, 10 bar–pub–club locations.

Da Nang Heritage Journey – Da Nang Heritage Tour

– Quantity: 10,000 physical passports, 10,000 online passports.

– 30 unique heritage and art destinations: 12 museums and exhibition houses; 07 traditional and contemporary performing arts venues; 03 heritage sites; 06 traditional craft villages; 02 galleries.

Da Nang Green Tourism Journey – Da Nang Green Tour

– Quantity: 10,000 physical passports, 10,000 online passports.

– 50 unique green and eco-tourism destinations: 06 conservation areas and national parks; 14 tourism villages; 08 eco-tourism and community tourism areas; 08 farmstays; 14 green hotels and accommodation establishments.

PROGRAM 3: Event and Festival Tour

  • National Day 02/9/2025 Celebration Program: parades, traditional long dress (ao dai) showcases, traditional art performances…
  • Da Nang Mid-Autumn Festival 2025 (from October 03 – 06, 2025): Opening Ceremony of Da Nang Mid-Autumn Festival 2025; Da Nang 2025 Dragon–Lion Dance Performance; artistic lantern installation and decoration space; art photography exhibition “Hoi An Tengu Dance”; experiential spaces; Hoi An Ancient Town Night; Mid-Autumn Lantern Parade; art program “Full Moon Festival Night”
  • New Year Festival (December): combining activities such as Festival experiences – Festival cuisine – cuisine at dining establishments featured in the Culinary Passport – interactive activities with bands, artists, artisans – mini-games giving souvenirs (handicrafts from traditional villages, service vouchers, etc.)
  • Special promotional vouchers for Festival experiences for guests holding all three passports – Culinary Passport, Heritage Passport, and Green Tourism Passport – and collecting stamps from participating locations
  • Special offers and events at dining and tourism service establishments for Christmas and New Year
  • Integration of art programs, events, and other activities at tourist attractions, museums, and major restaurants and resorts; series of events along both banks of the Han River
  • Series of events in Hoi An, Tam Ky, and various community and rural tourism spaces.

PROGRAM 04: “I love Da Nang”: attracting international tourists to return to Da Nang.

Target audience: international tourists who have visited Da Nang from 2020 to the present and return to Da Nang. In particular, focusing on several key markets with specific highlights such as China, Korea, Japan, ASEAN… and international tourists coming to Da Nang on new air routes in 2025.

Content of the campaign:

  • Gifts tailored to each market such as bags, stuffed animals, umbrellas, handicraft gifts from traditional villages… to attract visitors to experience Da Nang City.
  • Giving away 10,000 vouchers (valid until the end of 2025) (Vouchers will be mobilized and selected based on the preferences and characteristics of each market to increase appeal to tourists).
  • Providing free eSIMs for international tourists (implemented under the lead of Sun Group).

Implementation methods: tourists have the opportunity to receive vouchers through 02 methods:

  • Participating in the lucky wheel on the campaign’s website/fanpage.
  • Participating in lucky draws at Da Nang International and Domestic Airports.
  • Winning vouchers can only be used by the winner and cannot be bought or sold. Service business establishments participating in the program will not refund any difference if the service cost is lower than the voucher value.

II. TWO ENTIRELY NEW DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION SOLUTIONS

1. Online payment solution for international tourists: The VNPAY application solution allows international visitors to quickly and securely register an account using a foreign phone number and directly link an international payment card. The simple process enables tourists to easily access and use the service without complicated procedures or the inconvenience of exchanging cash for payments.

From accommodation, transportation, dining, and shopping to entertainment, all tourism needs in Da Nang can be seamlessly paid for on a single platform. This convenient experience enhances satisfaction, creates a positive impression, and encourages repeat visits, contributing to promoting Da Nang and Vietnam as a modern, friendly destination on the global tourism map.

2. Online experience of the set of three Da Nang Passports: The application integrates the online experience of the set of three passports, including: Da Nang Food Tour Passport, Da Nang Heritage Tour Passport, and Da Nang Green Tour Passport.

Tourists can download the TripC Da Nang app and register their information to immediately receive a passport. Guests can upload photos of receipts and check in at passport destinations to instantly collect stamps from these locations and redeem gifts online.

III. MULTI-CHANNEL COMMUNICATION SOLUTION AND INTRODUCTION IN KEY MARKETS

Organize a press conference to announce the tourism stimulus plan for the last months of 2025 in Da Nang City with the participation of media agencies, tourism and art communication units, and influencers on communication channels;

Organize programs to introduce and experience selected destinations from the Da Nang Food Tour Passport, Da Nang Heritage Tour Passport, and Da Nang Green Tour Passport at unique spaces to honor the destinations and introduce them to locals and tourists;

Introduce in key domestic and international markets: Exhibition of socio-economic achievements on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of National Day (02/9/1945 – 02/9/2025) at the Da Nang Pavilion – Welcome to the New Era (Hanoi City), the 19th Ho Chi Minh City International Travel Expo (ITE HCM 2025) in September 2025, Da Nang Tourism Festival 2025 in October 2025, Introduction of Da Nang Tourism at Hanoi Ao Dai Week 2025 in November 2025, CTBEX Fair in Manila, Philippines (July 16 – 19, 2025), Tourism Expo Japan 2025 in September 2025, Vietnam Culture – Tourism Festival in Korea 2025 in Seoul, Korea in October 2025, WTM London, UK in November 2025, along with a Da Nang tourism introduction program in London, UK… For key returning international markets: the “I love Da Nang” campaign with many attractive offers will continue to be introduced in markets such as Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia… at fairs and in all domestic and international events.

IV. ENSURING SERVICE QUALITY AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE “DA NANG SMILE” TOURISM CULTURE CRITERIA

To ensure service quality for the program, the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will coordinate with the Tourism Association and businesses to ensure service quality, conduct regular inspections and supervision, and maintain transparent and timely communication. The program is accompanied by leading tourism enterprises, bringing visitors a fresh, attractive, friendly, and service-ready Da Nang.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also announces the implementation of the “Da Nang Smile” Tourism Culture Criteria, aiming to orient, encourage, and promote the implementation of civilized and cultural behavior, attitudes, and manners among organizations, individuals in the tourism sector and related industries, local residents, and tourists in Da Nang City, ensuring service quality and customer service attitudes, contributing to affirming the image of a civilized, safe, friendly, and hospitable city.
