The first fashion show of 2025 by the designer duo Vũ Ngọc Tú and Đinh Trường Tùng will take place in Da Nang this July.
Every summer, fashion enthusiasts across Vietnam eagerly await something special from the creative minds behind VUNGOC&SON. For this resort season, the designers will once again embark on their fashion journey in a familiar destination — Da Nang City. The Cruise 2025 show, titled “Where Fireworks Shine Brightly | Paint My Love,” promises to be a radiant highlight of this summer’s fashion scene, bringing together top celebrities and unforgettable moments for the fashion community.
THE FIRST FASHION SHOW HELD AT HAN RIVER PORT
For fans of VUNGOC&SON, the Central region is no stranger — many of the duo’s past shows have been held there. True to their signature originality and constant desire to surprise, the designers always choose unique, emotionally resonant venues that turn each fashion show into an unforgettable experience.
This time is no exception. The runway will be set at Han River Port, surrounded by Da Nang’s unique landscape — a “mountain in the heart of the city,” and a “city in the heart of the sea.” It is also the first time a Vietnamese designer is organizing an independent fashion show at this iconic location, situated along the historic Bạch Đằng street rich in modern cultural heritage.
Speaking about the show’s concept, designer Vũ Ngọc Tú shared: “Da Nang is known as the capital of lights and fireworks. It’s a modern city with diverse developments. Many have watched fireworks from the banks of the Han River, but not everyone has experienced the serene yet radiant beauty of the city during twilight — when the sunset merges with sparkling city lights. That very moment inspired us to choose Han River Port as the venue for our 16th fashion show in the journey of VUNGOC&SON.”
Set to take place on Sunday, July 20th at 4:00 PM, the show is expected to welcome 500 distinguished guests, making “Where Fireworks Shine Brightly | Paint My Love” the most grand-scale event the brand has ever hosted. Among them, 200 VVIPs will include diplomats, government representatives, entrepreneurs, renowned Vietnamese artists, and celebrated beauty queens. Notably, 300 local guests will also be invited as a token of gratitude from VUNGOC&SON, promoting national pride and contributing to tourism through fashion.
A COLLECTION THAT BREATHES ROMANTIC SUMMER
“Where Fireworks Shine Brightly | Paint My Love” will unveil 150 designs inspired by the people and nature of Da Nang, showcased by nearly 100 models in free-spirited Cruise-style outfits. Maintaining the brand’s signature elegance and classic silhouettes that honor the beauty of women, this Cruise25 collection introduces a fresh seaside flavor through joyful prints and vibrant colors, reflecting the fashion house’s core identity.
The collection stays true to fundamental silhouettes, emphasizing versatility for the travel season — from streetwear to cocktail attire. Materials include jacquard brocade and organza silk, accentuated with hand embroidery and 3D embellishments. As a tribute to the “City of Fireworks,” the Cruise25 designs will prominently feature radiant patterns.
Designers Vũ Ngọc Tú and Đinh Trường Tùng infuse their love for nature and Vietnamese heritage into this collection, drawing creative inspiration from beach morning glory flowers — wild blooms native to Vietnam’s Central coast. These blossoms, simple yet striking, will be transformed in various styles through the duo’s colorful aesthetic. The key tone of the collection is sky blue, evoking refreshing summer vibes and positivity — also the designated dress code for the event.
A ONE-OF-A-KIND RUNWAY IN DA NANG
Unique runways and pioneering venues are signature highlights of VUNGOC&SON’s fashion shows. This time, the show will grace the dazzling Han River Port, located in the heart of Da Nang. The 300-meter runway along the waterfront, accompanied by top Vietnamese stars and VIP guests, will set the stage for 150 designs to shine amid the golden hour and sparkling city lights. This will be another milestone in VUNGOC&SON’s ongoing journey to promote cultural tourism through fashion.
With cultural heritage as the foundation, VUNGOC&SON once again honors historical landmarks and local identity through fashion, spreading love for the homeland and introducing the beloved city of Da Nang to the world.

As the third installment in the “Radiant Youth” fashion series, this show promises a dazzling journey that marks the next colorful chapter for VUNGOC&SON.
