*The Danang – Tokyo direct flight starts daily from 30/10/2019
On 31/10/2019, the new budget airline Vietjet officially launched their 5th direct route from Vietnam to Japan, connecting the beach city Danang to Haneda airport of Tokyo. The biggest airport in Japan and also top airport in Asia, Haneda has an ideal location with only 30 minutes to Tokyo center and is one of the biggest travel hub in Asia to Western destinations thanks to its great domestic and international connections.
At the ceremony, leaders of Danang city and Vietjet gave flowers and presents to the crew and the first travelers on the flight to Tokyo and from Tokyo to Danang. Especially, the passengers and the public were welcome with a flashmob from Vietjet flight attendants and traditional Vietnamese performances.
Danang – Tokyo (Haneda) is operated daily from 30/10/2019 with flying period of 5 hours 30 minutes. Flight from Danang is at 18:10, arriving to Tokyo at 1:00. Flight from Tokyo is at 2:30 and arriving to Danang at 6:40. The airline is currently operating four other routes from Vietnam to Japan: Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh city – Tokyo (Narita) and Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh city – Osaka (Kansai).
