Danang in the eyes of Miss World
In the last few days, Danang has gone on viral with the beautiful representatives of Miss World from all over the world. Danang FantastiCity has a quick and interesting chat with Miss World Vietnam 2016 – Truong Thi Dieu Ngoc. She has the big idea of connecting cultures and people of Vietnam to the world via the representatives of Miss World.
Can you share with us about the visit of the group to Danang this time?
From Miss World 2016, I had the chance to meet and connect with many Miss World representatives, and from that I have always wanted to become an embassador of Vietnam tourism, promoting the image of the country to many different nations.
During this visit, I chose Danang because it is where I was born and grew up with my family, with many beautiful memories and love.
The visit was short but my friends can understand the people and the landscapes of Danang. The ladies are from Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia and India.
Each of them brings a different cultural highlights to shine with the culture of Vietnam, this is an exciting experience.
During their time in Danang, what is the deepest impression of the group about the place and the people?
The most impressive thing would be the people, this is what everyone agrees.
Danang people are very friendly and hospitable. From the minute we were arriving, the whole group were very much welcomed and well taken care of with a lovely dinner at Novotel Danang Premier Han River.
For the landscapes, each person has their own experience. Coming to Nui Than Tai Hot Springs Park and experiencing mud bath, all of them loved it because it is really good for their soft skin.
At Bana hills, besides checking in at the most viral bridge on the media recently, the girls were having a lot of fun with the artists in the carnival and dinner at Beer Plaza.
What is their favourite food in Danang?
Well when it comes to Danang cuisine, they were all excited to try banh trang thit heo (fresh spring rolls with pork) at Tran Restaurant, a great Danang cuisine destination.
Many of them also enjoyed banh xeo (Vietnamese pancakes) and said it would be perfect for cosy weather.
On behalf on the whole group, do you want to share something else with all the fans of Danang FantastiCity?
On behalf of the group, I can definitely say “We love Danang city”. The trip was only for 5 days but it has made a great impression on each member.
In the future, I will also try my best to invite more representatives from Miss World to Danang, to promote Danang to international friends.
