Danang International Fireworks Competition 2015 (DIFC 2015) will be held in 28th and 29th of April, is expected to attract over 50,000 visitors to Da Nang.
1. Theme and teams
With the theme is “Danang – Symphony of colors”, beside the home team Danang-Vietnam, DIFC 2015 has the participation of different teams like “Fireworks for Africa” (South Africa), “Pyrotecnico” (USA), “Howard & Son Fireworks” (Australia), “Surex Firma Rodzinna” (Poland). Under the plan, each team will perform from 20 to 22 minutes (not being less than 20 minutes or more than 22 minutes) according to the theme of the contest.
Evaluation criteria, grading will prioritize ideas, diversity and themes of performances; the richness, variety of colors; uniqueness and quality of performance, size and number of effects; synchronization between sound and image, the matching of music with images of fireworks.
Thus, DIFC 2015 representatives from all five continents. Global 2000 (Malaysia) continue to be selected as the consulting unit for DIFC 2015.
2. Venue
Danang River Port will be selected as the performance site. The city agreed to the construction of stands serving over 32,000 seats, included: Area stands A, B at the main stage with a capacity of about 17,650 seats and the C stands in the north with a capacity of about 14 350 seats.
3. Supporting activities
During the festival, many other ancillary activities will be taking place, such as culinary exchanging, boat parade on Han River, performances and organized sea sports activities, music programs and fashion …
Specially, Danang Light Festival will be held for the first time in the city of Da Nang from 24 to 26 of April. Showing time will be from 18h to 22h every day.
4. Ticket price
The organizer is expected to sell about 10,300 tickets / night from 300,000-500,000 VND / person / night.
5. Accommodation
DIFC 205 is expected to attract over 50,000 visitors to Da Nang. Da Nang – with total capacity of 16,000 rooms – will coordinate with Hoi An city (Quang Nam) and Lang Co (Phuc Loc, Thua Thien-Hue) to prepare thousands of rooms for visitors.
