“Regarding this worship, it’s simply the image of Mother – who are huge and sacred as the sky, land and forest as well as being close enough to cry, to laugh, to pray and protect the worshippers. In the important moments, Mother Godness will be there and transmit the good and the purity to the people. Therefore, practicing of Mother Godness Worship regularly is a need to prove the Vietnam value to international visitors.”
Also, Master Nguyen Duc Hien stated that practicing Mother Godness Worship or “Mau Tam Phu” is the cultural interchange between local worships and others such as “Dao Giao” and Buddism. The Mothers and Gods in “Tam phu” belong to not only “Kinh” but also minor ethnics such as Muong, Tay, Nung, Dao…That indicates the union and equal relationship among ethnics in Vietnam.
