Tourism is among the industries that suffer the most due to COVID-19 epidemic. Within not even 2 months, the outbreak has caused severe influences in Vietnam tourism in general and Da Nang as well.
In an attempt to confront the consequences of COVID-19 impacts while boosting domestic tourism, specifically to the non-epidemic regions, currently travel agencies and airlines have collaborated to create promotional packages for tourists.
The alliance of Bamboo Airways and Vinpearl to produce international-standard flight and hotel packages
Accordingly, Bamboo Airways and Vinpearl Joint Stock Company have announced 3-day-2-night vacation package “Just Go’ in the best seasons of Da Nang, Nha Trang and Phu Quoc with only 2.999.000VND/pax. The combo includes 02-night luxury stay with international standard at all hotels of Vinpearl in Da Nang, Hoi An, Nha Trang and Phu Quoc; round-trip flights by Bamboo Airways for one passenger for the journey Ha Noi – Da Nang/Nha Trang/Phu Quoc and Ho Chi Minh city – Da Nang/Phu Quoc; Enjoy the quintessence local and Europe-Asia dishes and 02 buffets for breakfast; Unlimited fun time at Vinpearl Land and Vinpearl Safari or 1 pax; free airport shuttles in Phu Quoc. The booking period starts from 24th February to 31st March 2020. The hotel vouchers are valid from 1st March to 20th May 2020.
Earlier, on 27th February 2020, Bamboo Airways and Vinpearl Joint Stock Company have signed the MOU for strategic cooperation in tourism – airlines aiming for domestic tourism development in which tourists will utilize air fares by Bamboo Airways and travel to destinations managed by Vinpearl in Vietnam. In the long term, both sides will aim for aligned-brand products to in order to deliver the best offers for the market.
In addition, Jetstar Pacific Airlines also issued the stimulus vacation packages applying for the group booking starting from 10 passengers in the period of 1/3/2020 to 31/5/2020 (not applying for the peak periods from 2/4/2020 to 6/4/2020 and 29/4/2020 – 4/5/2020).

Vietnam Airlines has also launched 3 domestic stimulus packages:
– The direct flight package to Con Dao with an attractive price from only VND 3,299,000/way including taxes and fees. From 20th February, 2020, Vietnam Airlines will launch a new policy whereby passengers can buy airfares from Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Vinh, Da Nang to Con Dao (transmit in Ho Chi Minh City or Can Tho). In particular, customers can check in and send their luggage straight to Con Dao when departing from Hanoi, Van Don and Da Nang. For the remaining journeys transferred via Ho Chi Minh City, passengers can check in at the transfer counter (transfer) at Tan Son Nhat Airport.
– Flash sales program for domestic market with 199,000 VND/one-way (equivalent to the total fare of 589,000 VND/return tickets): Ticket is issued from 29/2 to 08/3/2020, effective from September 4 -26/12/2020.
– Summer program, scheduled to be implemented after the Flash sales program for domestic market. Tickets are scheduled from 10-3 to 20/3.
