Danang has recently reached “Top 10 Holiday Destination in Asia 2016”, voted by readers of Smart ravel Asia.
Smart Travel Asia is Asia’s most prestigious online travel magazine with 14 years of experience and 1.2 million views annually all over the world.
The online voting initiated by Smart Travel Asia lasted from May to July 2017, with the participation of more than 1 million readers worldwide. A vote is based on 3 main factors: the experience quality of the tourism products, word of mouth, the popularity of the tourism brand to the online community. The voting has enabled readers to give the truest evaluations of the best tourism brands and tourism destinations of Asia.
The voters are tourists with diverse travelling experience, in addition to well-known travel journalists.
On November 14th, Chief Editor of Smart Travel Asia – Mr Vijay Verghese came to greet and present this award to Danang Center for Tourism Promotion. According to Mr. Vijay Verghese, Danang won this award thanks to its beautiful natural landscape, attractive festivals and events, tasty local dishes and a safe travelling environment.
He hopes to cooperate with the city to promote the tourism development of Danang to reconfirm that Danang is the wonderful, modern, safe and wellknown top holiday destination to visitors worldwide.
This is another success to Danang after its place in “Top 10 Holiday Destination in Asia” in 2013. 4 years after, Danang is honoured to be voted in this list again.
This is a great news of Danang tourism and continues to confirm the tourism brand of the city in international travel market.
